My good friend Justin, who owns Moon Dog Drum House, told me I had to check out this Gruv-X. He sent me a list of different available colors so I of course had to choose Rosewood! This is a great addition to the drum set. It blends in nicely, stays out of the way, and is extremely adjustable to get it right where you want it! Check it out and thanks for watching! I do apologize that I didn't notice how flat my snare drum was during the playing. At 5:45 I started loosening it and then never retightened it lol Rookie error!

You're the first drummer I have seen who keeps the throw off on the right side of the snare. You still have to retune the drum head once you have the X in position. I do like that the X gives you a raised stick position, the audio is not terribly night and day but the ergonomics are solid.

My left hand is a little difficult to use after an injury so yeah I prefer the throw on the right. Weird right? Also yeah I forgot to tune my snare drum back up after install but caught it to late in production and didn't want to reshoot.
