- Today I am taking you all on a tour of the amazing GRAY TAXIDERMY warehouse in Pompano Beach Florida! The folks at Gray's were truly awesome people and went above and beyond to make sure my fish looked just the way the real Peacock bass that I caught did. This whole process was a great experience for me, I can look at this amazing fish everyday to give me the energy and motivation I need to go out there and beat the weight and size of this Trophy fish! Bass And Bucks got my first and only three peacock bass in Puerto Rico last summer and they fought good for their size, not the butterfly peacocks like in Florida though, those are still on my wishlist, good luck getting one!

Nice catch. A week or so before hurricane Andrew I cought one between 8 lbs to 10lbs back in the day there was no go pro or phone with the technology there's today

There is one big problem with this.. And this is just my opinion, I’m having them do one for me too. A peacock just like yours. I’m having them do a skin mount because you have a rendering of your fish not the actual fish. Throwing back a fish like that for future generations is admirable but peacocks are so plentiful down here, throwing a fish back that size is like saying hey, I have a Picasso here but I’m going to put this one aside and have somebody make me a print . You Don’t have your fish you have a replica.

@@joseduran7368 holy I did not expect you to respond that quick from a comment 3 years ago. I may have excaterated but replicas just last way longer, and the paint jobs are supposed to be how they look in the water, I got a tour in grays warehouse not to long ago. But the best thing about replicas is you can get them whenever you want and can get replicas of things you cannot keep. Like if I catch a huge goliath I can get a replica
@TheLegendaryOutdoors I tend to surf the internet a lot and deal with notifications on the spot during my free time. As for replicas I just don't see the significance in a replica of someone else fish that is close enough to yours. Skin mounts I did back when I was 16 are still good after 7 years. Granted I did put many coats of non-yellowing clear
