    Great video as I browse sheds, no bs and reflective of typical user - thanks a million for taking the time.

    thanks mate, baught 8x11 ketter from wickes this week, feel a bit happier seing your review, and yes it will have a bike in it, retirement project. after having smaller ketter storage sheds, i am intending to buy .9mm plywood sheets as extra flooring cover, not only to stop bike stands from damaging the floor but to help weigh the shed down in case of extreme weather, will only cost extra £70.00 i'm hoping ! cheers.

    A few suggestions: Connect up a cheap extractor fan to your solar panel, will get rid of condensation and put something reflective on roof, will keep heat/condensation to a minimum.

      Oh that's a good idea ! I shall be looking to add a fan soon then

    It is a good shed mate, especially with the mods you have made to it. You do get a wedge of condensation on buildings like this, I think it is possible to reduce that a bit with ventilation/airflow.

    to hang things on the wall you can use squares of plywood. Put a a coach bolt in each corner going through the shed from the outside, through the plywood and bolt up.
    Then you have a nice surface to screw things to.

    What more do you need. Keeps the rain out, and bikes dry. 👍
    My wooden shed is getting on now. Every year needs something doing.

    Thanks for the video I've just ordered this! Wanted to ask how much gravel did you use? Also do you secure the shed floor to the base? Thanks

    • @BigPezza
      @BigPezza  2 роки тому +1

      The base estimates how much you need I think it was 250kg . I ordered it in bulk for about 50 quid

    Have the same shed. Last night wind blew off one roof panel. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it. The middle brace that the roof slides into - the plastic lip that the roof panel slides into broke off Please any ideas. Thank you

    Condensation makes this a no go for me, That is a good way to destroy metallic things.

    Nice review of the shed. I'm awaiting delivery of the same shed soon. What size concrete screws did you use to bolt the flooring?

    • @BigPezza
      @BigPezza  3 роки тому

      Nothing gravity is doing its job but if the shed was in a more open and windy area I guess that would be a issue. A mate of mine has the exact shame shed for longer then me and he has a concrete base and never bolted it down. But very sheltered location

    Hi- what is the floor made of? Is it suitable for the weight of a motorcycle or have you had to lay boarding to spread the weight. Also is the floor suspended or sitting directly onto the gravel panel system you laid?

    • @BigPezza
      @BigPezza  Рік тому

      It's sitting directly on the panels and I have had no problems with motorbikes in the shed

    My shed has been made but due to severe winds it moved. I wanted to ask did you put anything down between the shed and gravel base to anchor it down? Help!
    Ps I used the same base as you and same shed thanks

      depends how old it is, the skylight, buttresses, flooring and window shutter decorative pieces all preferred to break rather than to release the interlocking tabs for mine. was ancient though

      Just cut a small hole and put a normal metal wind ventilation on the roof to reduce rising hot air. Silicon seal from outside
