I like a lot all the composition except the undefined dull colour at the background which doesn’t seem to go in harmony with the very beautiful luminous front. It lacks of something. Say that you were sitting down there by the river in nature. You wouldn’t see that plain undefined dull winter colour of that background in harmony with the front luminosity.

Once the color is painted on the canvas, I have no way to keep it dry for a long time. In places where the colors need to blend together beautifully, I have to paint it quickly and be able to paint that spot right away, without having to retouch it. For example, the sky, if you edit it many times it will no longer be beautiful
