Great stuff as always, but I want to give a shout out to the Aero line of laptops. The Aero 15 Dave had has an OLED panel, but they also come in non-OLED variants too (if you're sensitive to PWM flickering). I'm a graphics designer / web developer / gamer and I recently had to buy a new laptop after my MSI laptop crapped out. After doing lots of research, I landed on the Aero 17 by Gigabyte. The one I have has an HDR 17" 4K IPS panel, which is exceptionally color accurate and is Pantone X-rite certified. It's an absolute pleasure to work on in the Adobe Creative Suite. I have the 6-core i7 version and it can run all of the Creative Suite apps I have installed at the same time and still feels responsive. It's a great machine, especially for how powerful and compact it is. If anyone out there is shopping for one, definitely give this one a consideration. It's a bit on the pricey side, but checks a lot of boxes for my needs.
Actually, he specifically made a point of the fact that he didn't own the MacBook, he had to borrow it. Also, not liking the value of something, is not the same as not having money. You can have millions and billions of dollars, but want to feel you are getting a good deal for the money you pay, or else it's just someone else thinking they deserve your money more than you and that you are too stupid to keep it safe, which is exactly how Apple prefers it's core users to be. Loot in the bank and too stupid to bother figuring out their hardware isn't nearly worth what they charge for it. Getting ripped off, is still getting ripped off, even if you have the money to afford it. Basically, it's just over the legal side of the line of stealing from you.
@@cameronb851 its called marketing. not apple's fault people are stupid. why would they waste money making a good macbook cause they sell so much bad laptops anyways and everyone buys them. This is why apple is so rich they have like 40%-60% profit margin in all their products because of good marketing strategies.
@@2eewoihwuef671 - It's not called marketing, it's called stupid marketing. Fitting, given that its catchment is stupid people who lack the ability and more pointedly, the willpower, to accurately assess the value of what they are getting for what they are paying. My point is that it's lazy and unethical. Apple isn't 'winning' because they are a great company with good products, or even because they are evil geniuses, who know just how to shine the light so that you don't see the faux shine of cheap shoddy pulp factory builds masquerading as master craftsmanship. They are 'winning' because most people would rather get on a payment plan they can't afford to rent the pretence of affluence they don't have, rather than actually do the work needed to get that for real, or accept that's not really important, or for that matter, real, period. Apple do fat lazy minimal effort marketing, for fat lazy minimal effort thinkers. Your idea that because they are a megacorp, that means that what they are doing is amazeballs and should be adorated and emulated, or even that it is a measure of success is specious and redundant. Apple are at the end of a long line of tech companies that's hit the top, and each one of them has sharted in their pants at some point and lost it. The best way to maintain that position is to combine actual good marketing with actual good products. No business is long term sustainable, without a contiguously decent product line. Corporate America is littered with the smoking husks of mega-companies that maintained a pretend aura of technological genus, that eventually flamed out taking billions of dollars of investors and customers money with them, because their products really weren't that good at all, and were hyperinflated. You can fool all of the people some of the time, or some of the people all of the time, but not all of the people all of the time, and eventually the people you don't fool, outweigh the value of the people are are fooling.

"I don't like the value of the macbook"
*owns 10 other laptops including the macbook*
He doesn't own the macbook, and rest were review units.
