Tbf, De Gea’s form wasn’t nearly on par with what we see here in his last season (of course part of this has to do with Ten Hag’s preference to play out of the back)…but at least Onana seems to have found his form again. One of the few consistent players this season so far. Last year many games were lost because of his mistakes but I can’t remember any goal against United that’s been his fault this year. Happy to see De Gea thriving with a club again though 🎉
Everyone talks about Degea but United's biggest player was Ander Herrera, this guy had the united DNA 🧬, could give you that pass, score that goal, play dirty, play nice, defend, attack, dictate the temple of the game

Looking back some of these players don't deserve the treatment they were given at the end of their time at United by the club manager and fans. They deserve a lot better.
Under van gaal we dominated possession against nearly everyone we played even held even against city possession wise.. he was building a good foundation shouldve stuck with him for more years

i now see what Evra stated, these boys lose the hunger after signing big fee contracts! where did this Rashford go? the boy was so good as a striker.. good header of the ball, super fast and good finisher! i thought Utd had found their Thiery Henry
United missed an opportunity to have this manager develop the team and ensure consistency in playing style for years to come. The board lacked direction and failed to recognize what they had when they got it. We were losing to smaller teams because we couldn't defend effectively while pressing high and struggled to score as our front three players were frequently sidelined. He had begun building a strong front three and needed support for solid defenders. It's both pathetic and painful that they chose to sack a manager who was feared by the top clubs.
@@is_fpr5f1i think Mou played the United board to get in and get his money chase he knew these fools looking for easy success without a vision. Gets sacked without a fuss and takes his money. Mou didn't hold back in press conferences and could have been sacked at any moment!

Perhaps we should have stuck with van Gaal for another season.
We had a good keeper and LVG was really building something. Chris Smalling grew under LVG. We just didn't allow him to build a squad. We had a good goalkeeper and went on to buy a butter finger keeper. Why becos he was good at inter not knowing that Inter had bloody good defence infront of him. I dunno what ETH is building. We got sucked into it. Now we celebrate 7-0 beating barnsley. Show this at EPL games and be consistent. Thats all I ask for but we really got a leaky goalkeeper.
That assist from Antonio Valencia for Rooney's goal against Liverpool speaks volume. He was a winger turned defender.
