Nah. TFF is timeless. They may have made it big starting in the 80’s.but their music is timeless. Why do we still call them an 80’s band like it’s a bad thing? Do we call Journey a 70’s or 80’s band? No, because they’re simply great bands who play phenomenal music. TFF still better music than anything I’ve heard in the last twenty years at least.
This is happening to me right now, I "discovered " them this year, but I liked their songs from years before. I dont know why I didn't pay attention. Now I am obsessed 😍

They do deserve to be in the same sentence as U2, Police, and REM. It's subjective but these guys were equally as good musicians as the Police and wrote some excellent song and harmonies. REM had incredible energy and had a very organic feel. REM captured a gothic aspect of the south in much the same way Faulkner did. This is a pretty mind blowing performance in terms of musicianship, energy, and timing; oh and vocals and just about everything else.
Enjoyed their music but wasn't really into them in the '80s. Thought they're older stuff seemed a bit artsy. In the time of the start of MTV I really liked Change.
Fantastic live...one of a big new wave bands.
Roland é a coisa mais linda desta mundo.... ❤
important film. the first rung of stardom, haven't yet learned to work a crowd, Roland still with stage nerves. they sure went a long way after this.
very. it's amazing.
Don't forget they were with The Graduates before TFF though! that had some passing fame
They played the whole set twice in this concert! Rewind the backing tape and played again. Both sets are filmed.
Best times of my life!!!
Too right, can't be beaten

23:05 haha cute, Roland.
What happened there?
Orzabal, i love you. 🎶
I love bands with two singers it’s so cool
QUE BANDA MARAVILHOSAAAAAAAA 😍😍😍😍😍😍👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Bota maravilhosa nisso!
Thank you for posting this masterpiece
Enjoyed their music but wasn't really into them in the '80s. Thought they're older stuff seemed a bit artsy. In the time of the start of MTV I really liked Change. Then for some reason years later I bought Elemental and I realized how brilliant Roland's writing was and.. they are artists! I've really been enjoying their music the last 10+ years.
pale shelter best song ever
