Hi! Thanks for watching! We’ll be waiting another week or three here in Panama before we decide the next move. We will either transit the canal and head towards French Polynesia, or we’ll backtrack to Colombia and wait out the hurricane season there. It all depends on how the C19 restrictions are looking. We chartered a boat in Greece before we bought Bacchus - it was such a fantastic place to sail. We’d love to go back one day!

Six well armed guys in a yacht could troll these waters AND AMBUSH the PIRATES ,Rob and disarm them and set them adrift in a small tender .A few months of this,tactic would END this problem of pirates .
Get yourself a can of bear spray repellant , keeps pirates at bay shoots far blinds and causes hard breathing(temporary) they will be jumping in the ocean for relief
Hurts to hear sailors refer to my home country like this, unfortunately it's true, corrupting socialism has destroyed its economy, and worse its spirit. I spent countless years sailing and anchoring in places like Mochica, Araya, La Tortuga, Los Roques, Morrocoy, Margarita, and many others. Stay safe and please seek to understand how prosperous countries are ruined by destructive policies. It will be better again. Soon.
We’re sorry! It’s such a shame, we’ve heard it used to be a beautiful place to cruise. Let’s hope things get better and sailors can visit your home country again in the not too distant future!
