His first saber's resemblance to Vaders makes more sense now
This should totally still be canon! This story is compelling!
Unfortunately, it does use the whole imprinting and bonding with your crystal, which fits a lot neater in Legends lore of Khyber crystals than Cannon.
Didn't Anakin also repeatedly lose his Lightsaber? He kept needing a new one. This could help explain his lack of attachment to the one he forged himself.
Maul is one of the most UNDERRATED characters in Star Wars. Though he only was shown to us in live action in Ep 1 his arc in both Clone wars and Rebels is amazing. Whenever Maul is on screen in either bodies of work HE always steals the show.
That’s testament to Sam Witwer’s voice acting.
@@thefigure13 That is def true. He has def added to the pain of Maul
He was manipulated from the get go! It would've been hard not reacting like he did in that cave though.
Question: What would Anakin's lightsaber look like had Qui-Gon Jinn been his master instead?
It would look like a mix of his current hilt and Qui-Gon’s lightsaber hilt
I imagine it would probably be purple because with Qui-Gon's guidence he would have been less stressed and more comfortable with his feelings.
@@madamastersgaming a purple blade with the hilt looking as a mix of Jinn’s and his famous hilt
I really like how these idea's sound. And I like to think it's quite possible. Thanks a bunch for commenting.
I'm thinking he would use a yellow blade, and be more of a Sentinel instead of the Guardian.
Now this makes more sense with the further movies of the Skywalker saga and the importance and power behind Anakin's saber
That saber was destroyed in attack of the clones
One of my favorite legends comics. Short, simple, yet highly effective in the story it was presenting. Also stays true to Anakin's character and expands upon it.
Haha this is why I make jokes about "Darth Vader the wise"
No his father always want anakin skywalker to be Jedi then later as Sith to learn all Darth plagues wise his father always had plan for him it didn’t matter plagues the wise behide everything
This is the closest thing we’ll ever get to a Darth Maul vs Anakin Skywalker duel
This is terrifying. Extremely terrifying visions. Anakin wanted power. I agree light side was very harsh new trainees. Light side wanted to help. I think it was constructed the wrong way. May the Force be with you always
Did anakin get a different kyber crystal when he lost he first one on geonosis? If so would love to see a video on him getting a new one and constructing his second saber the youngling slayer 9000 😂
but wouldn't this lightsaber meet its end before attack of the clones since in that movie when his gets chopped in half he says not again meaning that he had a lightsaber from before and it had gotten destroyed as well
This adds further fuel to the argument that Anakin has always been Darth Vader, but it also shows why Obi-Wan failed as Anakin's master his dogmatic view blinded him to the fact he should of asked which emotions Anakin had used for his first lightsaber when he found him.
I think the Force was trying too tell him that it’s okay to be afraid but not let it guide you!
Amazing
I guess it’s good that he lost so many light sabers so he could build a better one
Love these comic videos!
Creating a weapon is normally out of fear and using that fear to create a particular tool with certain features it all depends on the use afterwards if it so easy to fall to the darkside and such a bad thing that a sign right there your order is fragile
The lightsaber is a tool, not a weapon, in the eyes of the Jedi
@jaketalbot7553 a tool to protect by killing the aggressor can have all the word play you want still a high power plasma sword that can cut through anything
Thanks for the awesome video, keep them coming they are brilliant as always. #suggestion A look into obi-wans background. Thanks for doing this video. 👍
Really interesting.
ngl at this point in star wars lore almost everything human in nature seems to be leaning towards sith not saying who cares but the threshold of expectations inorder to be a pure jedi is close to impossible no wonder its close to extinct practice
Only Star Wars channel I watch bro. You’re like the Morgan Freeman of Star Wars 🙏🏻.
I appreciate that!
Anytime brother keep up the good work. ✊🏻
I can hear Sam Witwer doing the dialogue for Maul.
Chosen one yes, smart one , not so much!
I wonder if the dark side trial caves or whatever the equivalent is show the sith the possible peace qnd tranquilty they could have and the legitimate good they could do
This is another foreshadow of Anakin overcoming the dark side. It shows that he will have great struggle, but in the end will be victorious.
Is there any Star Wars lore on Obi Wan as a child?
Funny . . . How the cave was going to be sealed for a year. After only being briefly opened for only a few hours. During one day in the Cartoon series of the Clone War's. Because of how the planets day night cycle, Was so slow. Compared too its cycle around its local star.
What comic is this?
But did Ani bond with his crystal? Did he have a conversation and a cup of tea with his crystal to decide the color?
3:30 so is this a Force Hadoken or a Force Kamehameha?? 🤔🤷🏾♂️🙃
My theory is that sidious with the help of alchemy somehow made darth maul physically manifest
I’m here!
his first saber also looks like Vader's. so it does not surprise me tbh
Ouuuuuu shiiiiittttt, they use something similar for the repair of cal kestis light saber in the Game, so, that make more sence about what happen in Jedi survivor
Wasn’t his first lightsaber destroyed on geonosis when he got captured?
Olá ncerely this was the saberthat looked like Obi-Wan's second lightsabe. And this is just like Luke failing his test on the cave at Daggobah, and Luke can't be called dark because he failed the test.
Anakin’s mom was honestly kind of loose.
Well even if that is the cause that light saber got destroyed so I am not sure what the problem is
4:15 Darth Maul is a Sith assassin, not a Sith lord.
Why is his first lightsabe blue in these comics? His first saber was green in the movies
Yo
Wasn't Anikin's first lightsabre destroyed on Geonosa?
Geonosis.
Yes it was destroyed in the droid factory.
Day 372 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
The dedication.....,that's admirable
Day 1 of agreeing with you
So your saying anakin used...the Kamehameha????
Honest mistakes are just THAT... Honest mistakes. Funny how IF I actually WAS Maul attacking him he'd been expected to either try an escape Maul OR if had no other choice fight him an beat him if he could.. Just like Kenobi once had to do.
An DID Anakin TRULY fail here since he WAS successful in both getting a crystal AND a NON training weapon materialized seemingly from lil or nothing but parts. Alot of Jedi from this Era failed to remember that balance woulda been better then too far either way. Especially since in both EU and Cannon didn't he not TRULY start going into the Darkside till about Jabim??? Not to mention the events of Ep2??? Especially at this point he woulda been very much a Jedi an the crystal given was a blue one meaning he was supposed to be of the warrior/defender type of Jedi anyways. Given his temperament an nature. Hardly think he made it the "wrong" way since at his best he WAS a fighter. Just like many of the others. The likes of Dooku, Mace, EVEN Yoda an Sideous ALL started where Anakin was with limited or no real skill once too. Think here it's more WHAT one does with it then HOW. Which is a similar thing both Force Orders got wrong about the Force I think too. The weapons or ability (most of the time) is just HOW something is done.
Without someone to swing it even a really advanced sword is still a pretty object sitting somewhere. Even suspected an said to be even Sentient to a degree like the famous Darksaber STILL had to have someone holding an swinging it to actually be of any use an do much
I think it has less to do with WHAT you said, but WHICH words you chose to randomly CAPITALIZE.
i like how you break down the comics and other sources of the lore
I think I'm done following SWT...your videos are at least informational...and not riddled with opinions
WHAT
Didnt he need to force it to be blue and not purple
Yes. He actually had a vision of Samuel L Jackson telling him, "Hell no muthafucker, you better change that color right now."
The truth is that Anakin should never have joined the Jedi Order. Given his life circumstances at the time of first meeting Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Padme etc., it is clear to all that he was far more suited for the Sith Order: very emotional, full of raw Force power, grew up outside of the temple in his early years and actually knew what normal life was life, at least better than how the Jedi did. The Jedi Council was right when they tested him to refuse his training!
😁
Giraffe
Anybody watch the most controversial topic in star wars video before it was made private? What was it about?
It was about the Gray Jedi, had some audio issues. It will be back up this coming Tuesday!
Anakin's first lightsaber is the best one he ever had in my opinion. 🩵
Sup😮😅
X
Early noti? thats a first
The Jedi have failed anakin
What if anakin was antiromantic?
The Jeti and sith are both wrong there is only the force
First
L
First....
I've been thinking lately maybe Anikan was high functioning autistic, it would explain his prodigious technology skills at a young age and his very muted emotional availability excepting a very few people that he desperately needs in his life and his single-minded nature fixating solely on whatever particular goal is his current objective, first to protect his mother, than to make Obi-Wan proud/failing so looking for it in Palpatine and finally coming full circle in his obsession to protect Padme.
People think Hayden Christensen was a bad actor with a muted performance but what if he was just a really amazing actor portraying someone with RAD?
This is why I'm a sith
Too right.
this is why i'm a Mando
