Yeah the video is weird but that's Bungle for ya, don't know if you noticed but they are kinda weirdos in the best possible way, that's why we love them so much lol the whole Bizarre festival perfomance was amazing, hopefully we can do some more lives from it!!! Yes that is Trevor dressed as Swiss Miss, one of the many reasons he is my favourite human lol thank you for the reaction ❤️
MV directed by Kevin Kerslake, and perhaps one of his weirdest. I remember it being banned from MTV back in the day because it was creeping people out too much. A friend of mine and I made a Visual Basic program that would enter a request for that video on the web request form for TRL over and over in the late 90's as a joke to the point that after a few months you literally couldn't enter the words "Mr. Bungle" or "Quote Unquote" or "Travolta" into the form
Mike Patton's first tape from his parents was bird sounds and he loved that tape.

I can't speak for Roxanne exactly, but that live performance was selected to show the diversity and influence the band had from a range of backgrounds and sources. Their music isn't accidental, it's devised from an eclectic spectrum of several informative band members. Hope you enjoyed. Facts!!
I've been a huge Faith No More fan since "Epic" blew up in 1990, but I gotta keep it real. Mike Patton is amazing but he's on some weird shit with Mr. Bungle for the most part. A bit out of my wheelhouse. You really need to tap into Mike Patton doing his Italian Mondo Cane shit, classical music with an orchestra. Check out "Il Cielo In Una Stanza" - his vocal abilities know no bounds. Eureka, CA's finest.
There`s a bit of perverted synth-reggae chords in there, prog metal, bits of rap here & there, two recognizable pieces of good old traditional jazz, a pretty jazzy-metal chorus for voice & saxophone, literally a musical & lyrical quote from John Travolta’s popular eponymous song sung with Olivia Newton John in his film "Grease", some mumbling at the end... :) and that`s about it. :) Ah, piece of cake. :D Is it messed up? No... it`s - Bungled up. :)) But in the live performance, there is an additional treat near the end of the song...And, yeah, it`s still Travolta, not Carry Stress in the Jaw - that`s another song - guys behind the camera "spoiled" the information and displayed the wrong title. ;) So, the peaceful sounds with dolphins at the end are actually part of the song they covered and pasted on the plain end of "Travolta", song from 60`s that comes from India, well, from Bengal, so to speak, called "Ei Raat Tomar Amar" - it`s a story about two lovers..as they told me. :)) Aand, that`s not all: at the end of this cover - there`s another cover, man! :))) Yeap - this time it`s: Doo Wop (That Thing) by Lauren Hill, lady singer from hip-hop collective Fugees. So there you go: a standard Mr. Bungle musical kaleidoscope. :_) Thankyouverymuch, seeyanexttime ...!
