Thanks for the tips Shaun, I have only driven here once so I'm grateful for the advice in order prepare for the Blancpain. It does look like a very fun track to drive so I think I'll get started tonight :)
Really great video "love the paint job" ...I did my first Gt3 OP. last night and got a Best lap time of 1.20.228...(mp4-12c) ....Great fun on a great track!!
The curve at the end of esses is a bit iffy. Got my attention. And as you come down the hill onto the front straight that dang concrete wall comes at you fast. Been there done that.
+samdavis1228 lol....No, actually I didn't and won't. It' a good subject that can help a lot of people and good to see that versus someone taking sips of coffee ;-)
Nice video topic IMHO...I just think you could have done a much better job during the actual lap showing just the cockpit screen w/the voice-over...versus splitting the screen into 4 smaller screens. I mean, c'mon..really...what benefit does the top right aerial view really provide? ;-)
+Another Needless Network Not according to the many iRacers I've passed during my sim races at Road Atlanta. I always move up several positions past my original position on the grid because of the mistakes of others. Sometimes the easiest courses actually produce the most incidents. Every time I sim race at Monza, which seems very easy at first glance, produces more incidents than most tracks because you have to run at the absolute limit if you want to have any kind of decent lap time. This is also a very good track for me.
TERRIFIC Information! Even very applicable to motorcycles...except the bikes have to take the 'kinks' at 3/4 which Really cuts speed topping the hill. But coming out and heading downhill to 5 puts you right back onto the same race line...
You didn't point it out in the audio, but you showed it in the simulation... as you go under the bridge at #11 you want to line up with the RED marker on the bridge so you are lined up over the blind hilltop. You will be "light" as you regain sight of the Track and steering changes will be sluggish and 'risky' if you are too far left... and you MAY find yourself going down the outside pit lane...Especially on a bike, with the front tire possibly not even touching as you crest the hill!
Brilliant idea for a series Shaun, hope this becomes a regular feature
189 like 2 dislikes... Seems like more of this format would be great. Please do these again.
A tricky circuit for sure... thanks for the guide!
Excellent work, must have taken a while to put that all together! Thanks for all your work!

So tricky track. automobilista AI 105% eec endurance series. 4 seconds off for class leader.
Have no idea for days where to find the lap time.
More... More... More...
Darin is going to dislike this Lol.

Road ATL is a very easy track to drive

John G. Hill
I have the replay to prove it, I will never spend any money to buy content that is DX9 either.
+Another Needless Network Wow. You're so special.
Dave Wing
wow, do you need some tape to hold your ears in?
John G. Hill
it's always been a VERY easy track for me to drive, probably why my times are so fabulous, but then again so are my Nordschleife times.
Max Verstappen will drool when he sees this and thinks how to drive it with his F1 car.
Isnt sebring
+brent van camp Yeah, sorrry, fixed that.
+John G. Hill no problem
Easy track? NOT! It's only easy if you aren't trying very hard.
