I have fibromyalgia so it's almost impossible for my whole body to be relaxed, my reinards syndrome kept distracting me with finger tingling. Also concentrating on my breathing always stresses me out. I gave it my best shot though. 😂

I learned a lot about hypnosis in college psychology classes. Then later I met some hypnotists and have had a lot of amazing experiences. My chronic pain permanently went away, it's been amazing for my decades of CPTSD. I've also had odd experiences like being hypnotized to see my hand as having a finger instead of a thumb, so my hand looked very symmetrical. It was so weird!! I've also been abused and taken advantage of by hypnotists, so it's not all fun and games.
I'm usually listening and rarely asleep. I've never had proof that i cannot be hypnotized, and I think someone did it successfully when I was in grade school (in like the 80s) so I'd say yes. I think there was a nose like an animal command, and I remember a "grab the curtain" command. This was done on a school stage, so whatever the command was had me grab the stage curtain, and I actually could not let go until the hypnotist gave me the release command. I remember trying and failing to make my hand relax. As a dominant individual with submissive people who have willingly put themselves into my control, including one who was interested in being hypnotized into being the perfect slave (kinky play, not real slavery) I've worked to learn a lot and had fun with it. I've often thought that Corry had a good voice to try hypnosis, and now I know I was right. Good job, Corry! On the topic of being a creative person who consumes creative media, I find that if the work is good, my writer brain can shut off and let me enjoy it in the moment. If the work is bad, or even just meh, then my writer brain starts working overtime. I’ve had to teach myself that it’s okay to not finish a book if I’m not having a good time.

Your ability to be hypnotized has more to do with your willingness/ability to let it happen. You are still in control of yourself (no hypnotist can make someone do something they don't want to do) but you have to allow yourself to let go and be guided. In my experience being hypnotized at a few different shows it had nothing to do with my level of happiness.
I asked to see my new kidney and my surgeon forgot to take the picture!!!! But my surgeon for my bowl obstruction showed me my intestines and it looked like a ballon animal. I do have a picture of the kidney not in my body though.
