- I lived a month carnival Luminosa ship on my month-long Alaskan cruise journey. We did 5 back to back weeks on the Carnival Luminosa from July 6th - August 10th 2023.

We were on the transpacific last September-October, 30 days. We really enjoyed it, so much that we’re doing the return trip April of next year after two back to backs in Australia. Works out to 40 days!

I'm off on my 1st cruise from Brisbane, New Caledonia, Mystery Island day cruise now in March 17th. I've watched other posts of the Luminosa & yours has also been great to watch to give me a refresh.
Did you have the dress up in white night or fancy dress ups?
Yes, I apologize I did not show that but they did have elegant night and white night. Now, when we were on the Luminosa elegant night on an Alaskan cruise was not as fancy as it sometimes is in the Caribbean. I am excited for you! I wanted to take the Luminosa to Brisbane on a repositioning cruise. I hope you have a blast on your first cruise!
Just booked Elite in 2025 for 29 days Brisbane/Japan/Alaska/Seattle and it will be my longest cruise and tons of sea days. I loved the larger balcony and I’m hoping the one I booked (6353) is similar.
Oh that is awesome! I know which cruise you are referring to. We did look at doing that itinerary. I typically don't book that far in advance, so who knows. Yes, the balconies that jut out a little are so nice, plus you get a little extra room in your cabin. Hope you have a blast! Congratulations on your booking!!
We are on that one as well. We did the Seattle to Brisbane last September but didn’t really get to see Australia so we’re doing the 7 and 4 day cruises back to back prior to the transpacific.

I haven't done this sailing yet, so can't tell you from my experience, but I can say I have talked to several others who have been on this sailing and had great things to say about it.
