True! I never forget an interview with him many years ago, must have been around 2005 I believe, where he spoke about a lot of different things and also mentioned how we lived in "prudish times" (en snerpet tid) and then years later it got about a hundred times worse in that regard. It's like everything we gained during the late 60s was lost along with metoo and so on. Pretty sad.

I was in prison when he died. And Every prisoner sang his songs that day. No matter what background they had, nomatter what religion or gang. Very beautiful. This is The greatest musican our country has ever seen. So much that If you can't sing along to kim larsen. You simply ain't danish.
We called him our National Bard. Our voice. When he died, there was national mouring here in Denmark. Big screens were set up in different cities to display a tribute concert and people of all ages either sang along, cried or both. There was even a big parade throughout Copenhagen. The funniest thing is, that he would have hated all the fuss. I can't stress enough how incredibly important he has been to Denmark and the Nordic countries.
There was one in Odense too, which ended at his home. The family came out on the balcony and greeted us. It was huge of them to let us mourn in front of their appartment. Odense city counsil kept the gifts and letters that were put in front of his home, so the family could receive them if they wanted 😊
at Christiania my friends made at big mural of him and you know, in Graffiti-culture it's not unusual to paint over other peoples work .. but this has been there since 2018 or 2019 .. gotta respect that
Kim Larsen is one of those magic ppl I wish could translate to the rest of the world. His lyrical universe is amazingly beautiful, naive and experienced at the same time. It just instantly takes you back to golden memories and feelings.
Actually, when Kim Larsen returned from the States, he came home with an idea for a movie. The movie was "In The Middle Of The Night" (Midt om natten). He wrote the soundtrack, that ended up being the best selling Danish album of all time. 650.000 sold in Denmark alone (population 5.5 mio. people). Every song on the album became a hit of its own, and the no. 1 hit was the title song "Midt om natten" which held 1st place on the charts for 23 weeks in a row. A record it held for 27 years. Amazing stuff. I miss him.
On the surface he made pretty simple songs, but if you listen more carefully you realize that he was a master craftsman at making recognisable songs, was a really good singer and often had very profound and poetic lyrics that spoke about the society and how people treated each other, and was a champion of the little man. He was a really good guitarist as well, could whistle better than most and knew how to arrange a song so that the backing singers fitted perfectly and the different instruments had room to be creative. He was proberbly the most influencial danish musician in the last 100-150 years.
Its difficult to explain how BIG Kim Larsen is in Denmark. He was the voice of generations. From the 60ties right up till his death a few years ago. Everybody here knows at least his more famous song, and we all have sung his songs in school and other places. If you play music here, chances are high that some of the first things you learn to play are some of his songs. Like someone else wrote. He was our Bob Dylan, and Springsteen 😊
I'll never forget it. It's about 21 years ago. I was out clubbing with my mates. My dad had attended a concert with Kim, and he suddenly called me and asked where I was, I told him and he went "Cool, see you soon"... Kim and my dad grew up on the same streets, and knew each other from the good old days. After the show my dad just went over and said "Hey you old f*cker".. They had a few beers and Kim then asked him if they shouldn't go have a few and talk about the old days. 10 min later my Dad, and Kim Larsen walked into the club😯 Everyone just froze, and then started clapping and cheering for him for a few seconds, then went on with what their lives, pretty damn chill. They then came to our table, ordered a round of beers, then 2 bottles of booze for us. We saluted, talked a bit, enjoyed our beers and then they both left on what my dad called the "Route of Death", basically having a beer/drink at every establishments on the way home (That's 18 bars and clubs) Kim was such a stand up guy, and nice in his own quirky way, truly a national treasure.
I knew Kim personally back in the early 70’ties while living at Sophiegården. He was brilliant & definitely one of a kind - we had a blast in those years. Such a legend and so beloved of more than 3 generations. I so so miss him. We all do. 💔🥰♥️🇩🇰
He wrote, in my opinion, the very best music and lyrics back in the '70 with the band called Gasolin! It's in danish but it's all worth listening to if you're in the the music from that period! RIP Kim 🕯️🕊️♥️🙏🇩🇰 your music will live on for generations!
Kim Larsen definitely made his mark outside Denmark. He was a big deal in Norway and Sweden as well. Saw him live when I was 12 with my parents, I was too young and spoiled by modern pop music to appreciate it at the time but in hindsight I do. I may not be Danish but I claim him as a national treasure!
I was in a mental hospital when he passed... his songs was my childhood, my adolecense and when he passed, in that hospital, we all came together and remembered all the good things! Not why we were there, not all the bad... just all the good, happy memories with his music ❤
Kim Larsen was everything. He will always be in our hearts. I still cry when I hear his songs. I grew up with his music and I will have him with me always. RIP Big Mouth ♥
Thank you, for chose this song bro...😉😊 It is maybe a liiiiittle bit difficult to understand, for people out from Denmark 🇩🇰 ..that Kim actually have built up memories for several generations... 💐✨🌹✨💝 These memories...are sitting inside us all here in this little county... cannot explain how it feels....as a kind of your life you NEVER can or will forget..Kim Larsen and his music, with the band...it belongs to our child hood, our teenage periode, and later as adults..Kim he's a part of us all...and we are a part of Kim...we NEVER will forget...never...✨💝✨ I can recommend the movie ... - Midt Om Natten - / The Middle Of The Night - with Kim Larsen.. It's a part of a ruff period in Copenhagen... the main city..from a time where you could make a bit money, in " silence ", with no tax..IF you was a bit creative 😁😁...THIS is over today...but yes...Kim he's from a good time... Charlie...and still live inside us, there grow up with him and his music...🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵 Kim Larsen....made in Denmark 😉 💝✨🌹✨💐💝🇩🇰💝💐✨🌹✨💝
I'm Swedish and have some records of Gasolin that I still play. This Is My Life is a song they played and is one of my favourites with Hva' Gør VI Nu Lille Du. And why not, Det Var Inga, Katinka Og Smukke Charley På Sin Harley. I must mention that Kim Larsen was the singer in Gasolin.
You often could meet him in a few of the bars in Odense ( his birthtown and where I live ). He was a nice enough man to share a cold one with, almost always having time to chat for a few mins when he was out at night ( and he had more time if you were giving a pint for sure ) all you had to survive was his constant smoking. Also we danes ( and I am sure other scandinavians ) tend to leave our stars alone when we meet them out in town, so he could walk around being left alone.
He really sang this song for most of his career. If you really want to see how it evolves, see the early energetic version, while he was in Gasolin (1978), then the version featured here and finally one of the last recordings in 2018. It's a sad, but beautiful, transformation
Dane here. I grew up with the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, UB40, and also Kim Larsen. Kim was unfortunately the least of it, in my family. So when he died, I started listening to his music. I remember listening to the song Piano Man, on the day he died, and that made me sad, because I felt I hadn't appreciate his music, and his cultural significance enough 😢
Kim Larsen was part of Danish band "Gasolin". Check out this 1978 version: Gasolin' This Is My Life 1978 ...This song still give me goosebumps. A very dear song from my childhood in the 1970s.
MY FIRST guitar notes on my mother's Spanish guitar (nylon strings).. Vocal: Kim Larsen Guitar: Franz Beckerlee Drums: Søren Berlev Bass & Choir(of angels): Wili Jönsson - SOME of the most progressive MUSICIANS IN DENMAR, until 1978... 🫶🍻🍓
Kim Larsen was truly a national treasure. A folk hero. Thanks for this, it was wonderful to hear this live version of this song, which has been on my Spotify list for quite some time :)
You are well informed. The whole country was in mourning when he died... I think some in our neighboring countries, Norway and Sweden also took part in the mourning. I can feel the "stab in the heart" just now here at the reunion. He was a national treasure
If you knew how loved, respected and bighearted he were, you would be even more blown away by his talent of writing songs, you can relate to. He was and is still are, the biggest singer in Denmark. No artist from DK, but Kim, has over several decades managed to write songs that all ages can sing along to. His music are played to several different kind of parties or festivities. DK loves Kim and his songs, cause he was a political rebel and songwriter, but loved for it. He even said no to get the royal order, cause he did feel he was a normal person, who just enjoys making music and happiness.
Several times a week he went to the local tavern. Had a beer. Just sitting still, listening to people, watching. His mind gathered inspiration. Went straight home, made music all night. He made hundreds - thousands of numbers. Hit after hit. Every track with poetry, soul, some twist, observing social norms, unfairness, framing good and bad things. He made music and songs day and night, non stop. He did not think he was proficient enough in English to be able to produce in large quantities. As a young man he was a teacher specializing in English. But to be able to touch the little soul in language, one must be born with a language, the changes and small hints. He would not sing soulless rhymes and verses. In Danish, all his songs had a message. Impossible to translate to another language. Playing with words.
Kim Larsen was more then we can explain. When he passed away yes we was in a stand still and yes we was sad that he passed i grew up with his music loved it and honestly still do he is a legend and still lives on in our hearts R.I.P

Kim was a big Kim was not only a great singer and songwriter here at home, he was a one of his person. He used his concerts to tell what was on his mind. He dared to speak out against the politicians and the system, it was all with a smile on his face. Therefore, as you say, the whole country was in mourning when he died. We don't have anyone else who can do this, some try but no one hits what he could. He is missed and I wish I could just come to one more concert with him RIP Kim Larsen
Kim Larsen ( Gasolin’ ) sadly we lost Kim som years ago to cancer 😢 but he is and Will always be a big name and legend here in little Denmark. We all miss him very much 🇩🇰🌹 ( Stakkels Jim & PianoMand ) is also similar songs! Denmarks greatest bard and skald (skjald) - Kim Larsen, his music have inspired us for years and his lyrics we carry in our hearts he is sort of a national treasure to us, hence he was dubbed "danmarks skjald" meaning the bard or skald of denmark
My uncle used to be a roadie for him, and him and my dad would go drinking with Kim and Erik Clausen. His song 'Om Lidt', cliché as it is, was played at both their funerals. God I miss them both every day.
Oh I miss Kim Larsen (im a Dane).... His music and song are extremely iconic in denmark. He is old school (my mom had a poster of him, when she was a teenager). Gets goosebumps at almost all his songs.! Some serious, some just fun and games.
Thank you for a fine review. Kim was mocked here in Denmark for his English, which I never understood. When Kim Larsen died in 2018, thousands of fans gathered together in huge crowds and walked through the biggest cities to pay tribute (himself would have hated it though). Only royalties gets such treatment, that's how big he was. He pawed his fame as the lead singer in just as big rockband Gasolin' up through the 70's. This particular version of 'This Is My Life' he recorded with Gasolin' back in 1976. The year later he released it in a faster (less sensitive) version on a solo album.
I don't think that there will be any one like him... that could bring people together by his Songs, and with lyrics that got directly to the hearts of anyone who was listening... Doesn't matter what ever you was the business man in suit or the little man in the street, he is known by everyone in both Denmark and Sweden and Norway as well. He simply was The Biggest of them All. He even was invited to the Castle by the Queen Margrethe the 2. of Denmark to sing for her on the Queens 70' birthday party❤that says it All about how popular he was ❤God bless his Soul ❤
I saw Kim Larsen's first concert in Malmö, Sweden, with Gasoline over 40 years ago, and saw his last concert at the same venue a few years ago. Had the pleasure of meeting him a number of times over the years and he was a wonderful person. As an artist he was one of the greatest in Scandinavia and loved by millions. He is so missed! ❤️
We miss Kim Larsen so much here in Denmark. 💔 He made so many unforgettable songs. Thankfully they will live forever. No one makes music like this anymore. About “This is my life”, please checkout the studio version.
Kim Larsen has many songs that are maybe better as an introduction to his work. He was living for a while in Christania right next to where I grew up as a young kid. Amazing guy!
Harribest Reactions: You need to hear this song in the studio version, where the solo is performed by a female operasinger...... That patrticular part always gives me Goosebumbs... And it makes the deeper meaning of the lyrics hit even harder...
Lol, I thought the same when I heard Denmark said wrong.. I was like... So, is he gonna call a man named Mark mack too? 🙈🤭 I thought my country's name was easy to say

Kim Larsen was called: "The Danes' national shield" and gathered much of Denmark. ("National shield is like a national Bard or something in English i think but i dunno) he also had an edge, which we Danes like. He was a great campaigner for permitted smoking everywhere as he was a heavy smoker like our (then) queen. He even turned down the knight's cross, which is one of the nicest and most appreciative things you can get.
What people will never feel again is how hard this song hits you at a live concert where the buildup of songs that hits you right in the heart. It’s the feeling of WHO YOU ARE as a Danish person. Your history, legacy and much more. This is not a song you hear once out of context. It’s the cherry on top of a journey that takes you down memory lane of all that is good about your country and your people. That’s what Kim Larsen manages to do with his simple, yet emotional songs about all and nothing.
Was lucky to catch him live once... THIS IS MY/OUR LIFE!!! - Its so beautiful!!! - It doesnt goes as the Schlagge, or as the Eurovision.... but i hope future danes will learn about Kim Larsen!!!
Kim Larsens was a poet of the street. Many of his songs are about how ordinary people from the bottom of the society were treated by the system. He was speaking for them. He also did some movies like "Midt om natten" (In the middle of the night). Here translated lyrics from one of my favorites songs of his: What do we do now, little one -- I came into the world on the 5th floor my father was crazy my mother was normal but when they took him away mom said to me What do we do now, little one I went to school for many years worked in a factory and got a stomach ulcer and then one day the boss kicked me out What do you do then, little one And time went by and I went with it I flew away from place to place and the street's loose birds whistled and sang Where are we going, little one But then one day I went up to the minister and said you there put your feet down and take your hat off man, can't you see that everything is about to go completely bananas So what do we do now, you old crook But he just laughed and said you, you can go to hell so that's what we do now, little one yes, we do
First time I heard Kim Larsen was in 1979 with the band Gasolin'. Later I have heard him three times as a soloartist. All times in Norway. I really love his music.
He is surely missed. He lived in my city, above he’s own pub, and he had money, but never flashed himself in any way. He usually drove on his bicycle, nothing fancy, but he did have a car, at least at some point and that was an old Citroën 2cv. I still hear some of his albums when I’m at work. Just listening to this is melting my heart 😢
im a dane. and i grew up with Kims music. if i was too write here about all the good stuff this man stood for. UA-cam would would crash. from overload of positivity
When Kim Larsens band Gasolin' broke up in the late 70's only 1 band in the world had toured Scandinavia with a bigger live setup. The Rolling Stones. In the start 70's they sold 50.000-60.000 albums in Denmark and thought the market was flooded. They couldn't sell anymore, they thought. They released another album and then sold 250.000. After the band broke up he turned to pop. He co-wrote, starred and made the soundtrack to a movie that to this day is a danish classic. The movie sold more than 900.000 tickets in the theaters and the album sold 650.000 in Denmark with an additional 250.000 in the rest of scandinavia. No danish musician comes close to his carreer. As an omage to him Metallica always plays one of his 70's songs, when they perform in Denmark. This song is probably the only english song that is rated highly of his unfornatunately. But he was loved and is missed.
I still remember his last concert in the Tivoli Gardens shortly before he died. Even though he definitely sounded older and didn't sing as good, it was still an amazing experience. Very sad that I only got to see him twice live.
A fun fact about Kim Larsen.. He meet Tom Waits in Copenhagen in 1976 and Kim Larsen actually got one of Tom Waits old hats.. He have weard that Tom Waits looking hat ever since..

this great and beloved artist will with out a doubt be played for hundreds and hundreds of years in denmark we all know him very well is the feeling i have from singing his beautifull songs in the morning of school Hvil i fred Kim Larsen "du vil altid være vore alles spillemand"
Hes basically the local Danish version of the beatles in terms of popularity, longevity and time period. Though it should be mentioned that a lot of his songs were written in various bands, (the most notable being “Gasolin’” which was the band he initially got popular through) so it’s not just him. This song too, was written together with Gasolin’.
Kim Larsen was a member of the Danish 70s rock group "Gasolin". They sang in Danish but were very popular in all Scandinavia. They made some "heavy" rock songs back then when Lars Ulrich was still wearing diapers, and some really, really good ballads.
“This is my life” is from Gasolin, which were the band that Kim started his career in. Kjukken was the band he played for the last 15 years of his life. I had a very special bond to him, his music and Kjukken. My mom were old friends with the guitarist Karsten Skovgaard. My mom passed in 2003 and I became an orphan. Hearing Kim Larsen and Kjukken, always made me feel home. I’m 36 and been a fan since I were born. I went to around 30 concerts with Kim Larsen. When he died I felt I lost the last of my home. It was like losing a grandparent. I had a huge grief.

There was one in Odense too, which ended at his home. The family came out on the balcony and greeted us. It was huge of them to let us mourn in front of their appartment. Odense city counsil kept the gifts and letters that were put in front of his home, so the family could receive them if they wanted 😊
And a big parade in Odense as well
I had never seen this coming.
Thanks for reacting to Kim Larsen, Harribest.
You'll probably never understand how much it means. We miss Kim so hard.
❤❤❤🇩🇰❤❤❤
at Christiania my friends made at big mural of him and you know, in Graffiti-culture it's not unusual to paint over other peoples work .. but this has been there since 2018 or 2019 .. gotta respect that
I don't think amybody would dare the disrespect of painting over him and master fatman
jeg går forbi der ofte.
The King of denmark 🇩🇰
Kim Larsen is one of those magic ppl I wish could translate to the rest of the world. His lyrical universe is amazingly beautiful, naive and experienced at the same time. It just instantly takes you back to golden memories and feelings.
Lived near him in Odense and met him mutiple times in one of the local bars. He always called me “Lille Dame” (Little Lady). He was a sweetheart ❤
Odense har bra öl ,
Actually, when Kim Larsen returned from the States, he came home with an idea for a movie. I miss him.
As a kid, I once sang duet with Kim on a beach in Denmark. Cherished memory
I started to cry when you played this... R.I.P. Kim Larsen
Impossible to not get teary! I’m from Norway.
In 100years theres still a big part of his songs that will be both played and sung, I’m sure off it
@@mikker32 , i have no doubt that will be true.
He was also really popular in Norway.
I really miss Kim 🥺🇩🇰
Every dane from 5 til 100 years knows his songs... It was a day of days, when he passed away...
Kim Larsen was and will always be a legend in Norway as well. A giant.
We saluted, talked a bit, enjoyed our beers and then they both left on what my dad called the "Route of Death", basically having a beer/drink at every establishments on the way home (That's 18 bars and clubs)
Kim was such a stand up guy, and nice in his own quirky way, truly a national treasure.
🥰
I was in a mental hospital when he passed... his songs was my childhood, my adolecense and when he passed, in that hospital, we all came together and remembered all the good things! Not why we were there, not all the bad... just all the good, happy memories with his music ❤
Kim was great. Thanks for sharing.
Kim Larsen was everything. He will always be in our hearts. I still cry when I hear his songs. I grew up with his music and I will have him with me always. RIP Big Mouth ♥
He was big in Norway as well. I’m a big fan myself and that’s since I heard Gasonlin’ for the first time back in 77.
Thank you, for chose this song bro...😉😊
It is maybe a liiiiittle bit difficult to understand, for people out from Denmark 🇩🇰 ..that Kim actually have built up memories for several generations... 💐✨🌹✨💝
These memories...are sitting inside us all here in this little county... cannot explain how it feels....as a kind of your life you NEVER can or will forget..Kim Larsen and his music, with the band...it belongs to our child hood, our teenage periode, and later as adults..Kim he's a part of us all...and we are a part of Kim...we NEVER will forget...never...✨💝✨
I can recommend the movie ...
Charlie...and still live inside us, there grow up with him and his music...🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵
Kim Larsen....made in Denmark 😉
💝✨🌹✨💐💝🇩🇰💝💐✨🌹✨💝
Have just tjecked Kim Larsen wrote about
500 song and made 40 albums in different band settings
This made me cry happy tears, so many awesome memories because of Kim Laraen ❤
Må du hvile i fred, vor national skjald ❤
🇩🇰 Thank you from Denmark ❤
He will always be so missed Thank you Kim LARSEN for all your music you have giving us for so many years they will always stay in our hearts ❤🇩🇰
Kim Larsen and his rockband "Gasolin" was my life. I listen to him every day. He is not dead. He is still alive throug his music.
His son is doing really well in the industry too, definitely a branch from his father's tree, worth looking up!
I grew up with him, he was amazing 🇩🇰
I'm Swedish and have some records of Gasolin that I still play. This Is My Life is a song they played and is one of my favourites with Hva' Gør VI Nu Lille Du. And why not, Det Var Inga, Katinka Og Smukke Charley På Sin Harley. I must mention that Kim Larsen was the singer in Gasolin.
My favourite song by Kim is Jutlandia.. he was a national treasure...❤
Enjoyed a few beers with him at a bar in Kolding when i was 20, what a person! Both in private and as Singer, a Scandinavian Legend
@@bazzakrak 100%! My father was a chainsmoker and sailor, so i had good training ;-)))
Thank you, Harri! 🤗🌹Kim Larsen is our national treasure.
Kim Larsen was without any doubt the best singer/songwriter we have ever had
Kim Larsen was part of Danish band "Gasolin". Check out this 1978 version:
Gasolin' This Is My Life 1978
...This song still give me goosebumps. A very dear song from my childhood in the 1970s.
wow rare reaction. Kim was a Danish national icon. loooove his songs
R.I.P Kim Larsen. Thanks 4 All the Good times !!

Love and miss him❤
Kim Larsen was truly a national treasure. A folk hero. Thanks for this, it was wonderful to hear this live version of this song, which has been on my Spotify list for quite some time :)
Walking down the streets in Odense, he always greeted anyone who greeted him.. He was a true star.
He is missed and I wish I could just come to one more concert with him
RIP Kim Larsen
Kim Larsen ( Gasolin’ ) sadly we lost Kim som years ago to cancer 😢 but he is and Will always be a big name and legend here in little Denmark. We all miss him very much 🇩🇰🌹 ( Stakkels Jim & PianoMand ) is also similar songs! Our answer of classic Danish rock = Gasolin’ 👍🇩🇰🥰🌹💪😎🫵🚬 today we Got so many others like VolBeat, D.A.D, sort sol, pretty maids, magtens korridorer… And many more…. Support those ❤
Will always love his songs. Im from Denmark to. Big treasure. R.I.P Kim Larsen
Denmarks greatest bard and skald (skjald) - Kim Larsen, his music have inspired us for years and his lyrics we carry in our hearts
he is sort of a national treasure to us, hence he was dubbed "danmarks skjald" meaning the bard or skald of denmark
Yeah he was legendary, this particular song was also written all the way back in 1976 btw and to this day it is Lit 🔥
Kim larsen were a very great dude we drank a beer in my young days
We miss Kim Larsen so much here in Denmark. 💔
He made so many unforgettable songs.
DEF.
And it was back when Kim was young and had his “best” singing voice.
'Denmack'?
He was simply a national treasure.. :)
Thank you, for all your compliments :D
Lol, I thought the same when I heard Denmark said wrong.. I was like... So, is he gonna call a man named Mark mack too? 🙈🤭

God i miss this man , he was a beacon of joy
What people will never feel again is how hard this song hits you at a live concert where the buildup of songs that hits you right in the heart. It’s the feeling of WHO YOU ARE as a Danish person. Your history, legacy and much more.
This is not a song you hear once out of context. It’s the cherry on top of a journey that takes you down memory lane of all that is good about your country and your people.
That’s what Kim Larsen manages to do with his simple, yet emotional songs about all and nothing.
Thanks you for bringing this. Means a lot. Wow, now I start crying…
Was lucky to catch him live once... THIS IS MY/OUR LIFE!!! - Its so beautiful!!! - It doesnt goes as the Schlagge, or as the Eurovision.... but i hope future danes will learn about Kim Larsen!!!
He made so many good songs, he's lyrics is awesome, rip Mr.Larsen
Kim Larsens was a poet of the street. Many of his songs are about how ordinary people from the bottom of the society were treated by the system. He was speaking for them. He also did some movies like "Midt om natten" (In the middle of the night).
Here translated lyrics from one of my favorites songs of his:
What do we do now, little one
--
I came into the world
on the 5th floor
my father was crazy
my mother was normal
but when they took him away
mom said to me
What do we do now, little one
I went to school
for many years
worked in a factory
and got a stomach ulcer
and then one day the boss kicked
me out
What do you do then, little one
And time went by
and I went with it
I flew away
from place to place
and the street's loose birds
whistled and sang
Where are we going, little one
But then one day
I went up to the minister
and said
you there
put your feet down
and take your hat off
man, can't you see
that everything is about to go
completely bananas
So what do we do now, you old crook
But he
just laughed and said
you, you can go to hell
so that's what we do now, little one
yes, we do
🥰😍😇
First time I heard Kim Larsen was in 1979 with the band Gasolin'. Later I have heard him three times as a soloartist. All times in Norway. I really love his music.
Thank you
Gasolin played their last concert on august 21 in 1978 in Malmø so you can’t have heard them in 1979
@@StefanNielsen_dk You are definitely right, it was in 1978.

He was Denmarks everything our hero we miss him so much❤️ Rest In Peace Kim Larsen Denmarks hero🫡❤️
Its from 1978 the song, when he played with a group called Gasolin, they was the Rock band in Denmark
Great pick Harri ..im an English guy in Denmark .. yes he tried the USA & UK but no big breakthrough .. was & still is a National treasure here in Denmark / Scandinavia ....
And now i am back to being 6 years old again.. RIP Kim
this great and beloved artist will with out a doubt be played for hundreds and hundreds of years in denmark we all know him very well is the feeling i have from singing his beautifull songs in the morning of school
Hvil i fred Kim Larsen "du vil altid være vore alles spillemand"
I clearly remembered that he smoked cigs like hells have risen. But I smoked and talked to him in Greenland koncert way to Nuuk in a Boat xDDD
Kim Larsen was a national treasure, he was our Michael Jackson, our Mick Jagger. There will never be another like him, ever. One of a kind.
