respect is there but still wondering why u have to changed your personality able for u to achieve what makes u happy. happiness is contentment. in life there is always someone who intrudes you to something new in life but if your faith in God is there I think is not about what makes u happy. yes you're happy but u think God want u to see in that way. if your not happy at least you've tried to do something good.
I mean, Being a man or a woman isn't really a good thing though, no? Me being a man doesn't really bring anything good to the table, the same way that you being whichever you were born as doesn't really bring anything good to the table, either. We're both just making decisions to make it to the end of the day whilst causing the least amount of suffering to both ourselves and others. Jake felt uncomfortable in his own body, therefore he made the decision to change his body into something that felt more natural for him. He made a commitment to stop his suffering, and I think that does far more good than being in a constant fight with yourself.
