- Sharing how to use Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) on Changan CS35+ 2022 model. This is one of the biggest benefit of having ADAS or Advanced Driver Assitance Systems on a vehicle. ACC is perfect to help you cruise and navigate your drives safely. Together with AEB (autonomous Emergency Braking), you can be sure of a safe drive. Just make sure to do the ff:
1. Use ACC only when you are “cruising” (adaptive cruise nga eh), not when you are approaching cars that are significantly slower or on complete stop. The car will stop because of AEB, but its not going to be fun.
2. Set your distance to front vehicle accordingly based on your speed. The faster you are, the longer the distance you should keep in front of you. I keep my distance to “4” when in the highway. I use 2 or 3 when inside the city. I’ve only used “1” during crawling traffic in EDSA.
3. Be proactive to adjust your speed.
The break light turns on when the vehicle slows down due to ACC settings. But break lights dont turn on when it slows down just because you adjusted the speed. Know the difference to keep safe from cars who stay too close behind you.

Sorry sa late update/reply. Just to update. I'm still loving the car. Will turn 2 years old by July 1. No issues so far. I've only logged 16K kilometers because this is a 2nd car and we only go out of town maybe once a quarter. So far no regrets. Hope all that bought are also having a good time with their car! What is the use of star button in cruise control section? Can increase 1 km speed in each step? Default it is increasing 5 km .
AEB and ACC system issue facing in new car itself. It make cruise control failure.

what's the minimum speed and distance apart in heavy traffic (bumper to bumper scenario) for the acc?
Minimum speed for it to activate is 30kph. But once activated, it will function even if you go full stop (zero). If the car in front of you move within 3 seconds, the car will move automatically. But if you stopped for more than 3 seconds, then you will need to press RES (resume) button for the ACC to reactivate and attempt to achieve your set speed.

@@ceeemm8438 actually mam, so far so good nman Po experience ko Kay CS35plus hype ko.. ung about Po sa interior for my opinion ok dn Po sya it's not that premium type pero classy Ang datingan nya.. temp wise the d ko binubuksan ung sa sunroof pag mainit. And malamig dn Aircon nya kahit Isa lng air vent sa likod, mga anak ko nilalalmig pag nsa byahe so para sakin oks sya.. ung ACC astig and other safety feature, by far for me the best sya. D pa dn ako nkakasakay sa GeeLy coolray kaya d ko sila maicompare. On my personal opinion sulit ung below 1M n price nya for it's features and looks. Sa totoo lng nililingon si CS35plus hype ko Pag nsa daan Lalo n sa Gabi Ganda dw ksi Ng ilaw at ung harap nya Ang pogi tignan kahit saang angulo mo tignan.. hope I did give you some insights 😊

it is dangerous to use it in the city with a lot of traffic because if a car overtakes you and gets into your lane, the radar does not detect it immediately and does not brake emergency, it already happened to me, I love the cs35plus I have it for a month
nonsense! A good modern cruise control will handle such problems easily. Especially incity traffic cruise control makes relaxed driving possible. In my german car I had never any problems with the adaptive cruise control, and we are driving much faster. But we respect right side traffic rules, and we are using the left (fast) track mainly for overtaking or for speedy driving.

Meron po. The ACC can bring you up to a full stop. If the car in front of you moves within 3 seconds, the CS35 will automatically move forward. If you stop for more than 3 seconds, you will need to press “RES” (toggle up”) for the car to move up?
Does it has blind spot detection?
sorry for late reply. no it doesn't have blind spot detection.
Did you ever have a problem with the ACC? I saw a few post in social media that there is a problem with their ACC..
none so far. have not seen those post also. one thing to note, its cruise control. one should always remember na its just cruise control and not really a smart self driving car.
