In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the 2022 Changan CS35 Plus Luxe and see what features it has to offer. The 2022 Changan CS35 Plus Luxe is the highest trim, followed by the 2022 Changan CS35 Plus Hype and the 2022 Changan CS35 Plus Lite. The 2022 Changan Cs35 Plus Luxe goes against the Geely Coolray Sport, but with the increasing price of the Geely Coolray, the Changan CS 35 Plus Luxe is becoming a better value. The CS35Plus Luxe now looks more like the bigger brother, the Changan CS75 Plus.

ACC and AEB is love, safety is the most important feature of the car for me. Already test drive it and its so comfortable, fast and premium. Ganda sa personal.
Ang maganda dito, Mapipilitan na sumabay ng ibang POPULAR car brands na itaas or humabol sa features nila pricewise. Good for the future car buyers.

Fun fact: The name of the brand came from the most prosperous and cosmopolitan city of Tang Dynasty China, Chang'an. It is now called Xi'an. It was so cosmopolitan because madaming lahi ang nagpupunta dun at nagtatayo ng negosyo. Arabs, whites, africans, etc. Kyoto, the old capital of Japan (before Tokyo) was modeled after Chang'an. Almost a carbon copy. Chang'an was like the New York of the world, 1000 years ago.

CS35+ luxe, ZST, and Cool sounds interesting. (especially with moose test if it were logistically possible at this scale)

Excellent review, indeed. I have no doubt the CS35 is one of the best cars that money can buy for the price. I have two gripes about it : rear view mirror is not auto-dimming, and a single air vent in the back. However, that is not what prevents it from being my next car. Spare parts are very scarce for Chinese cars, regardless of brand and age. When they are available, the price is very expensive.

Agree that's whats keeping me from upgrading to a chinese brand car.
I don't know if there are any auto-dimming rear-view mirrors in that price range and category, please correct me if I'm wrong. At least, not in the Philippine market that I know of.

Very nice and low priced CSUV. im concerned about the single AC vent and single USB outlet at the back seat. Also, what is the purpose of those handle-shaped layout above the wheel arcs? Without function, they look silly.
if only we have laws here in the phils that will force, car companies like this to make sure that common parts are available atleast locally. the 'aftersales' nightmare stigma will be removed.

great review reygan as usual! .... jst wana ask, do buyers of this cs 35 plus luxe hv the option to hv their transmissions tweaked to minimize/eliminate the turbo lag which is very pronounced during initial accelerations? can you recommend any shop/car tuning company for this job? tnx
Unfortunately, it is a DCT trait. All DCTs have that... but after the initial lag, it just goes and goes.

Meron sir. Just put the stick shift on the manumatic mode, naka sports mode na.
Chinese cars are mechanically wise di nila tinitipid yung torque. 158 hp 260nm of torque.yung mga branded ang baba ng mga torque.iito para knang bumili ng pick up.
Reygan's Rides. I just watched a review of the CX35 Plus. It was 969.000 pesos and the poster said this top model was 999.000 pesos...same new front end like this on that Plus only model...was he wrong? Was it a 2021 model ...? And this one as a 2022 went up 170K pesos? Appreciate if you can reply back

This car beat the kicks epower bigtime and badly in price and features. Lolz.
Too much of a disappointment when I saw and went inside this car at MIAS. The warranty fine print is tricky. So beware. Choose wisely. Also, seat ergonomics were extremely disregarded during the conceptualization of this. See for yourself. Not to bash the brand, but Changan has a lot to prove to its clients especially prospect ones.
They already proved their brand in China, TOP 2 sila sa best selling cars in China as of March 2022
