I love this sample, you definitely have an ear. So that being said find the key of the sample, listen to the bass line of what the sample is doing, find those notes then play them rhythmically the way you want. This could be a master piece.🙏🏾Hire a keybd player, or a bass player from church it’ll be dope.
Kirk,i was dancing in my bed..I paused my TV,and had to let this groove...Oh,and the music is fine exactly the way it is,and it's already great..If you played this for us skaters,we would lose our damn minds..
Hey man cool stuff. How do u get sound from the mpc when your recording the sample from the turn table? I tried doing it from my phone but couldn’t hear anything even tho it was recording
The turntable is connected directly into the MPC with RCA left n right and the ground wire tight on input 3/4. And the the phone is connected in rear to inputs 1/2
You can make clips just like Ableton Live and assign samples with the right settings to a pad, like Ableton Live al is synced unless you mess it up or change. Just press a pad and the music starts playing, tapping more pads more music will sound, you can give them pads colors to help you remember what they are. up to 128 sample you can assign to a single track/program. the pad bank button are on the top left. You just gotta switch between tracks and give them a separated audio output and use a real dj mixer or 8 channel studio mixer. via the menu button under the screen you can access the tracks, not sure if there is a faster method to change between tracks. You got a few sample settings: note on, note off, ... and it also has several mixers inside (mute/solo options as well)
Master your craft before posting videos! U make us look bad. That bass is way off key. The ones congratulating u are leading u astray. Practice brotha...
Random- damn bruh give the guy a break. Some new producers need to see this because you don't always make fire when u sit down and make music, also with about 2 or 3 more steps it could be really nice

Yes majority of the time I use the threshold and if that’s not a clean enough I will write it in
Do you Play the drums With or without quantizatiion?
Mainly with Quantuzation but I can go back and that humanize button and make it sound better
KEEP GOING!!!!

Peace n greetings is that set called savatos i hope im spelling it correctly kirk
What equipment are you using? Much love unk
Akai MPC X, MPK midi keyboard, Serato Studio, Numark PT01 Turntable for sampling vinyl, scarlet 2i2
Can you use the MPC-X as a deck and mix/play the tracks you’ve made on straight of it?
That’s totally possible to use it live with a prepared set
