- Silk painting is an art.there are lots of practices to do this.In this video i explained how to paint silk without gutta and any kind of outlining.Silk painting is totally based on your brush skills if you are painting without outline. In my video I have tried to explain how you can use colors directly.
Daffodils are not easy to paint on silk without gutta but if you try this and follow my steps you can easily paint daffodils flowers.
I choose grip silk for direct painting because grip silk is a textured fabric and we can use brush strokes and create image easily.
You can ask any question regarding the video and brush techniques.Watch this video til end and give me your feedback.

This is absolutely admirable. Everyone is asking "how", it is what you reply, but also the way you move your hand, very gracefully, this probably creates such elongated lines.
Thank you so much for your appreciation and admiration for my work.
How is a very complicated process 🙃 but when i want to paint something directly, always take amall amount of paint and paint in layers instead of adding multiple colours for shading and one more important thing . Slect the right fabric for your followers or drawing.
Very beautiful

Pl demonstrate how to paint roses without gutta. Thanks
Hello sir, I love your work, design and compositions.
Without gutta silk colours will spred. But yours are not spreading. How??? Have you add anything into it? Which brand of silk colours you are using?
Thank you for your words.
I used a local brand of silk paints. Take a very small amount of paint on the brush and use 3 or 4 numbers round brush . Now a days i am using pebeo seta Silk Paints. The last important thing is practice, which is very important.
Can you pls explain how to paint with out gotta bcz normally I’m using gutta if not the paint spread every where. I’m a beginner I use Indian paint is this a problem paint spread or a cloth still I’m doing samples....appreciate if you can help me.....I like your paint very much it’s really nice and your a real talented person in free hand painter....
Thank you so much maam.maam i am using local seta silk little pit thick.and its just an practice. I always dip my fabric in plain water before painting and take small amount of color in brush use small brush and paint in layers . Apply 1st layer and let it dry than apply 2nd.
Thank you thank you
Welcome
Hello sir,
Very beautiful piece of art..
Is it the oil pencil which preventing the colours from spreading or it gas been achieved from your practice??
Thank you so much 💓 this is my practice
Super
Thanks
Hi Abid. What is grip silk? I have used Jacquard No Flow on silk satin to keep it from spreading, or else silk paints. I've heard a dye thickener can also work. You might like my new channel, just getting started.
Grip silk is a pure silk with lots of grains on it but very soft and graceful in look wise.yes its all about the control of hand .take small amount of paint on brush and paint in layers .you will enjoy the painting.i never used any kind of thick er or chemical on fabric before painting
@@abidzcraft I can see how that would work. Your painting is beautiful.
@@HartzHomestead thank you so much
Hello. Your work is amazing. Can you tell me which color you are using. How your color is not spreading
Thank you so much ma'am i used seta silk paints in this video. Plz take small amount of paint on the brush and apply the colors in layers let the 1st layer dry thn apply 2nd layer
You have used oil base derwent charcoal pencil
This stops the paint from spreading?
The wooden adjustable frame where to buy? Please show how it is used.
Which colours have you used in this painting?
Yes, i used derwent oil based charcoal for only drawing. It's not help to stop the colour inside the boundry line. I made all my silk painting wooden adjustable frames. And you can watch my video on frames.
Check on the Dharma trading website and amazon for frames to buy online.
I used local seta silk paints in this video, but now a days i am using pebeo seta Silk Paints, which are really very good. Use marabu or pebeo water-based gutta for outline. There are lots of videos in my playlists that explain in detail about gutta application and painting.
Hellos sir ,muje ek question hai. Maine ek Instagram per dekha tha ki silk dye me thickener mix karke pura flowers banate hai aur bhi kai sari designs banate hai to muje vo Janna hai ki vo thickener konsa use karte hoge ?
I am so sorry. i have no idea about that
Wh colors are u using?are they applied a little thick, or watery.
Pretty!!!☺️
My colors are in liquid
Silk color ko light krny k lien kya use krty hain dilutant?
Add water in color.
Beautiful work..
I wanted to ask should we always use natural silk fabric or could we use synthetic silk as well ?!
Thanks .🐛🌷
Thanks
Yes you should use pure silk.
`Thank you for great video, the only thing I would say -could you please turn your video upside down- for people who watch it will be better to see the whole picture from your stand point:) thank you:)
Thanks.soon i will :)
I can't find derwent oil base charcoal pencil on Amazon
Can you show which pencil
I use this pencil because its lead is soft and does not damage the fabric. You can use any soft lead pencil, but make sure not to draw dark lines because you can not remove those lines after drawing.
The clr paints spread around with out gutta even a single drop triples in size ..but in this video it is not happening..reason plz..or any trick?
Take small amount of paint . And the secret is practice, experience and skills
From where do I purchase the good quality paints?products available in market have no good results.
Kindly text me on my instagram . I will share the links there
Are you using pure silk fabric. Does the color not run without gutta? Good work.
Yes i used pure silk in the video and color always run out if you don't apply gutta properly
@@abidzcraft but in your video it says silk painting without gutta...and your reply says that colour runs out without gutta.???
@@KalpanaImaginationArtandEngPoe yes i done my this video without gutta because without gutta painting is practice and its based on fabric

Can we use magic sizing for working without gutta?
Yes you can use

U wash ur brush from water after finishing work?which type of silk can be used.we have to remove gutta after finishing painting?if yes .how with water or other things
Wash brushes after painting with water. When you finished your work iron the fabric for 5 to 7 minuts and after that dip it in water for 5 minuts.
And if you are using the silk dyes thn follow the instructions given on the label
Is it with the sizing technique?
Yes a little amount of color
Plz tell me the techniques of how can I paint on silk with free hand....like I have worked with guttas only...is there any other techniques by which I can paint in silk....???
I like gutta but sometimes i love to paint without gutta. Without gutta without sizing spray is difficult but if you you have skills you can paint direct on fabric without any outline of guttas. Start from chiffon fabric and take small quantity of color and turn on the fan.paint in layers
Have you mixed your local paints with seta silk ones in this painting too?
Not at all. i painted this in different shades of yellow, rust, and brown
Thanks for the video.paints or dyes.diluted or neat?please share.
Your welcome
Without water in flowers.diluted colors in base and leaves
abidzcraft Thanks.more or less everyone wants to know how do you get the defined shapes without gutta ?
@@jagjitkaur1956 😀 yes i can understand, only practice and quantity of color on brush. The maximum size of this flower is 2,5" i used small round brush and paint the pentals in lines.
@@jagjitkaur1956 and watch the complete video follow all the instructions like dip the fabric in water and apply the base coat and then flowers etc
What's silk painting.
Is it done on only silk.
What colours should be used
Silk painting is painting on silk that's why we called it silk painting and we use silk paints or silk dyes for silk painting.there are different brands you just decide that what you want to use for painting silk paints or dyes.dsilk paints are iron fixed and silk dyes need to be steamed
I appreciate your work bro, very nice , you are getting a sub from me and a continuous support as well. Good luck
Thanks :)
hi please i need you to answer! this i have to do a project like this but my background is a gradient from black going to white and on the black i am supposed to draw roses how can i do this without black ruining the roses ? And is it okay if I paint this without the wood and pins and only on a table is there any alternative to the oil pencil base? pls help
Hi thanks for message. Yes you can use pencil for drawing. You can use embroidery frame for your painting if you have already painted the background otherwise you need a frame. One more important point silk paints are transparent and you cannot paint on black. You can paint white with any color. Join my instagram and share the pic of your project then i will be able to guide you about this.
@@abidzcraft thank u so much!, i appreciate it
Either you need to use a fabric paint that will cover the black, like Jacquard Neopaque paints, or paint your roses first with dyes, and then fill in the background. You might like my video on painting roses on black silk.

Why are your paints not spreading without gutta? Mein gutta use nahi karti toh bohat phelte hain colours. Sahi shape nahi banta.

Sir ,if we use Gutta ,then after complete the work ,we need to wash the cloth after painting and need to iron on the back side ?
Dip the fabric in water for 5 to 7 minutes after ironing from the both sides if you used transparent silk gutta. (in case of silk dyes steam your fabric after painting according to the brand instructions).
Do you used Dupont Klassique , Arasilk or what kind of silk paint ¿?

What kind of dyes or paints do you use > Usally silk dyes runs or spread unless you use guta
i guess is the kind of silk.... what kind of silk do you use ... I paint without guta, but i use a antique resist based on alum mixed with gelatin, spread all over the silk. i Use Habotai silk 12 mm. Impossible to paint like you , without the resist. So, i think your technique es based on your kind of silk...
watching your dyes, are very thick too, .. not like Jacquard or Dupont... unles you ares using silk paints ! .. which have another consistency .. silk paints and silk dyes are very differnte, most dyes need steaming to set the dyes into the silk ... do you steam your paintings ?
there is a difference between silk paints and silk dyes.i always prefer silk paints.I always try to avoid all the chemicals and try to paint direct.and the other thing i am using grip silk and take small amount of color for every stroke i kw its a complicated to understand this but its just a practice and u can see my another video on chamois silk
