    I find that when I get down to the end of a fishtail, instead of that over hand knot, I do a half-hitch on each side, Pull it tight and then Snip and singe. It's a much more secure ending. :)

      @ms.jcarlsonsclass7690 2 роки тому

      What is a half-hitch? I’m teaching my students how to do this, but I didn’t like the other video for the ending. It was sticking out. Thank you! (This video is great). 👍🏾

    Awesome tutorial!! Excellent, and detailed instructions. I have always wanted a little more information regarding the clasp. While I have already completed several, fairly complicated braclets, the initial tying to the clasp, was a little confusing. You totally cleared up all my questions. I will be looking forward to more of your videos. Thanks.

    Great instructions with great details! Thanks for keeping your thumb out of the way too. I have made these before but it has been a long time so I forgot the beginning and needed a refresher. I recently made a two color bracelet as per these instructions. Very easy to follow. The only difference that I did was after I got my measurement for the proper size I used a piece of wire tie to hold the paracord in place at on end. Made this assembly so much easier. Thank you for the video. I will be making many more!

    this was easy, did not expects that, made mine just now, its now finished and looks good, im happy with it, though i used good quality lace from tracky bottoms, did the same job and melts ok, i avoided using the flat lace, a nice round lace does the trick, it doesnt twist as much, i used same coulor lace, i like that look

    I think you could use a large enough metal butterfly clip to hold the cord tight as you start your weaving, don't you think? Then less worrying about it moving or changing length as you get started.

    Have you ever thought of using a binder clip at the top to hold your starting length so nothing slips then weave? You could hang it from a hook and it would be less cumbersome to weave then and maintain tension. Cool look to the fishtail.
