    Great tutorial!
    Made my first bracelet yesterday (Cobra) but I like this design better. It was a little tough getting a hang of at first but the tutorial was clear and straight forward so eventually I finished it ;).

    Tim, I caved in. For now, I used a spline and jig to keep the spline relatively tight. This permitted me to have good tight fishtail weave finished with a Lan;yard knot. John

    Great video. I actually prefer your diamond knot tutorial at the end to other's I've seen because you're using two different colored cords and you move a little faster.

    could you make a video or two using paracord with the core removed, I don't always like the bulk of regular cord (very small wrist) and not all weaves work without the core...something to ponder.
    This one is excellent, by the way, without the core.

    There is actually a nicer way to end the weave. Do the last weave but leave a little loop at your las working string (left or right, whatever would be the last). Then start a new weave but just on one side, then pull the cord thru the loop you left earlier.
    Kinda hard to explain but that way you have a really nice finish, plus both cord ends can be synged on the backside, giving the weave a perfect look.

    Awesome tutorial Tim. Do you think you could do a tutorial on how to add a couple of passes of a different color to one side of the snake knot. I believe someone posted an example on the Facebook group. Also, I would love to see a "dragon's teeth bracelet" tutorial from you. I can't figure it out from the pics.

    I own a few of survival bracelet's which I bought all of mine from Friendly Swede, but I want to start making my own. Cost is cheaper and a lot of the times the bracelets are a little to big. My question is where do you get your paracord from and should I get a jig board or do it free hand like you? I wear mine every day. Please get back to me when receive this. GREAT video. Thank You.

      +Michael Kish There's a lot of great suppliers like Paracord Planet and Bored Paracord. A jig is helpful and does make things a lot easier, but is not completely necessary. I hope that helps! :)

      Wow, that's a lot of weaving. I've never done a length that long before, but I think a general rule is about 1 foot of paracord per inch of bracelet. So you might need a little more.

    if u pushed the first weave up a little bit more and make the rest of the weave tighter, the colours on the paracord wouldnt look so slanted i think that looks slightly better

      Try my other method out for the knot and loop fishtail. It's under "Two tone fishtail bracelet". Its a much easier method.

      oleb2002 You can find a lot of great retailers online, it depends on where you live though. I live in Canada, so I go to greatadventure(dot)ca, but if you live in the US, there are many great sellers to choose from. Just do a google search. It's best to buy paracord that made in the US though.

    If I try to tie anything else other than a cobra weave, it never turns out. It always runs long. If I want one to be 9 inches, it elongates to 11 inches. I did a fish tail weave bracelet. It turned out be long.

    The beginning of this and the explanation is very difficult. Its important to designate the fact that you want to complete seperate strands of cord instead on one long one folded in half like every other video you do. Watched this video probably 20 tonnes before figuring out out my own

      Make sure you tie it tightly and properly snip and singe the ends. Also press down the melted ends so they are secure.

      So, "tightly" ended up being the operative concept for me.
      Like I said, the knot kept coming undone. Eventually I used pliers to pull on the ends and that got it tight enough to stay knotted.

    Problem with your video 7:53 and 11:27, look at the circular loop at the top of the bracelet, in the earlier frame the olive cord cannot be seen wrapped around the burgundy but in the later frame it magically reappears...
