is it just me or is the beginning my fave part of this song? It sounds really menacing as if something is about to awaken. I really like it , anybody agrees with me too?
On an extended version of this I kept seeing people saying that she looked kinda like Kriemhild Gretchen from Madoka Magica... and now that I've actually watched that anime I can kinda see how some people think that
We all expected a giant Cthulhu monster, not a Momohime from Oboro Muramasa (they can be the same person, actually) xD There's something I can't explain about this theme, something that made my mind explode the first time I've heard it. That great and emotional it was. Maybe it's a melody? Or should I say melodies, there are too many great nostalgic and memorable melodies in it. So far it's my favorite Touhou fanmade/Touhou-ish final boss theme next to "Mow Down!".
I feel the same. When I heard this for the first time, I knew that it wasn't gonna be like Mitama's powerful Ligthning World. I really love that theme, and I tought I was gonna feel a bit dissapointed if this one was not good enough for a last boss battle, but... It is good enough, in fact, is a wonderful theme, for a wonderful character. The moment it started I knew that I was going to listen to it over and over. Also... I'm still waiting for a Cthuloli for the extra stage.
Very nice theme. It wasn't that overwhelming but got that... final-ish melody. And the build-up, especially during 2:15 and so on... OH GOD! I love this theme. And I definitely love the boss itself, the spell card, the design and so on.
