I thought the ufl had the weird kick off where they stand 5 yards apart and can’t move till the ball is caught?
That was the XFL from last year. When they merged they had to combine rules from both leagues. XFL kept the points after TD. USFL kept the kickoff. But they did move the kickoff back to the 20.

Retroactively calling a false start made me shut the game off. I started watching UFL because the NFL was obviously a rigged corrupt mess. Week 1 was great, but seeing some pansy in a booth decide to call a false start from a previous play drove me off. OFFICATING SHOULD NEVER EVER FOR ANY REASON REVIEW A PLAY JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO! THAT IS WHAT CHALLENGES ARE FOR! That's also why I stopped watching soccer. The idea of the super challenge is awesome though.
