Upload your background as a pattern to see if that will work better. Click upload. Select upload pattern. Locate and import file. Click back on canvas. Add circle shape. . Change dropdown for circle to "print and cut". Click to.change color to pattern. You can edit pattern to make bigger/smaller

I made some for a grad party this past weekend and purposely wiped my hands while wet, and the colors did not come off or smear
