Thought I would make a video to commemorate the 54th anniversary of the Russian dog Laika. Blasted into the unknown on Sputnik 2 with a one way ticket!.

How terribly cruel. Poor Laika.

Sadly very few people are aware this happened due to the time space, but it was quite sad that they picked up a stray dog, made her think she was wanted, and then did this, and cruel is a mild word compared to what I think of them, and for a space race? You think it's going to be worth the risk, crawl up into that capsule and try it yourself, cowards! BTW Carol, this was really very well done and thanks for doing it. Hope more find it.
