    Great Video, Thanks, FR
What was the name of the course that you took?
When did you learn to spell, and can you spell today.
The reason that we feel Shame is because we feel dumb! I take it if we are not "normal" why wouldn't we feel shamed.
Spot on about the Reading Turn: reading ahead.
You're right, we were in the classroom, but we weren't there at all.
I was not taught Phonemes, were you?
Did you lose a lot of personal things growing up, also are you good a math?
I repeated the First Grade, also.
Think of Dyslexics continuing to learn in a Recidivism Type of Way, until they get adequate assistance. FR

+FirstReviewer Hey FR, you can check out more about courses here:

Spelling takes a while to get the hang of for dyslexics. Tom is now in his mid 20's and can spell well pretty much. He still makes the occasional mistake, but that's what spell check is for right!!
You are spot on with the shame dyslexics feel. It shouldn't be the case because we all know that there is no 'one size fits all' policy to learning - some kids (dyslexics included) just learn differently. They aren't dumb or stupid like they are made to feel in the classroom.
At the moment in Australia there is a heavy emphasis on phonics, though not all kids learn that way. Tom was taught phonics at school but never got it... they he was taught using the methods in this cause (not phonics based) and he has flourished.
Was definitely good at maths - numbers only work one way, but letters... well you know as well as us that they can work multiple ways.
      Thanks for your comment!! :)
