@@osasunaitorThese clean trains you've seen are actually 1st generation trains from lines 2 & 3. Not cleaned out line 1 trains. However, 14 of those are being repaired by CAF in a factory in the city of Volos.
@@Pan472 so trains are never vandalised on lines 2 and 3? That's odd. I hope the refurbished trains for line 1 also include a coating to make paint removal easier from now on. The condition of those line 1 trains is depressing.

Glad you finally did a video on the Athens Metro! How did the network seem to you? Was it nice, clean, efficient, frequent or was it the complete opposite? Was it nice?
Honestly everything worked as expected. A very good metro. Maybe new trains on line 1 would bring more comfort to passengers, but as I said overall nothing to complain really.
not any time soon, the oldest batch of them is being refurbished like now so I guess they intend to keep the current fleet for more years. Fun fact: the newest line 1 stock is newer than the oldest of lines 2 and 3 :)

i find athens metro good...useful and quite cheap like all means of transport in the city.
