I went to my first rooftop bar in st. Petersburg Florida, overlooking the beach (9/10). We went during happy hour and the drinks were $4-$6 and appetizers were $6-$10. We left with a $40 bill 👌. Outside of happy hour the drink were maybe double.

It’s annoying enough people filming with their phones and selfies every two seconds. You don’t have to document every second of your life to exist. These places don’t need publicity it’s just nice to relax and talk without someone hugging their phone

Chanel doesn’t need the publicity either but still you see their perfume campaigns everywhere. Any business would be stupid to deny FREE publicity no matter their status or money.
Well done ladies! I work in DTLA so I did notice that you missed the Perch, which is pretty outstanding. I've heard a lot about Ace Hotel, but haven't been there yet, and I hadn't heard of Nomad, so I'll definitely check that one out! Keep up the good work!

The high cost is not because of the drink, it’s the access to movers and shakers that you’re really paying for. People who go to these places are looking to network, make business deals, and expand their social network. Same idea in all major cities. NY, Miami, San Fran, Chicago, Boston. Same expensive sh🤬t just different zip code. Great video all around. Really liked your Model 3 vid as well

5:52 This is such an LA thing! I used to work in the valley and would drive past all these hiking trails on the way to work. The parking lots would always be full at 10am on a Wednesday...I was like 'how are there this many people not working at 10am on Wednesday?!'. Clearly need a career change 😂. First time watching you. That was a really good video and great editing..The prices in LA are about the same as in Delray Beach, Fl. maybe a bit more expensive at some of the bars...I really liked the bar with the movies..that would be a cool place to check out.

With your skills a content production agency here would thrive. And we have Teslas too. Maybe you should come for a year and give it a try. Worst case scenario the experiences you’ll live will nurture you as storyteller

This is a fun idea! Coming from someone who works for bars, albeit no rooftops 😂 I'm into a few of these bars my faves are probably broken shaker and the ace- check out mama shelter for a rooftop in hollywood. It is kind of crazy on weekends but the drinks were great.
