Hey Randy. Got another recipe for ya. 6 lbs black cherries, 6 lbs rainier cherries, 1 gal of black cherry juice, and enough sugar to bring it to 1.080. Champagne yeast works well.
Thanks for all these recipes.. i just washed my bubble plates in a vinegar salt baking soda.. man they cam out like almost new.. just in case you wanna try
Randy, Another good copper cleaning agent for the EXTERIOR of columns or parrots.... Plane old table KETCHUP ... Rub on, wait, wipe off, rinse clean with wudder. ;) Cheers Buddy!
The blue/green is that not an oxidation layer, called patina, who protects the copper? Last week I was at my local drugstore and she said that citric acid is less aggresive then vinegar. Ciric acid is oderless, you always smells vinegar and you have to rinse a lot. Preferably use distilled water and not tap water. In distilled spirits there are no acids and minerals that affect or discolor the metals. After using the acid solution you would neutralize the copper. Put the copper in a water bath with a high PH solution, sodium bicarbonate or calcium carbonate is perfect. But I think, this is a little bit overkill. Most important. Always rinse with water and dry well.
but after few moments it will gwt black reidue on copper, like colour change darker colour of copper ,is it safe to drink watwer in dark reidue copper glass because when i fullthe glass of copper by water some black and reddish pigment ,i am not asking for green coour which is poisin
So the paste would be the best option for installed pipes that cannot be soaked. The internet told me to do vinegar/baking soda a few years ago. Wasn't impressed as they cancel each other out. and it smelled weird.
I was wondering. . . is it necessary to really use water at all in the 551? What would happen if you just used the other ingredients and not the water?
Thanks! What do you recommend for drying? After cleaning with vinegar, which worked perfectly, I put my copper in the oven, at aproximately 40 or 50 °C, and the copper reoxidized again
I boiled some chicken tenders in distilled water last nite, and it boiled over some. When I washed the pan, the copper was spotlessly CLEAN where that liquid was on the bottom of the copper bottom pan. WHY? And is it safe to EAT that chicken?
Skip all this. Unless you just like to waste time. Get some muratic acid and apply to a cloth (wear gloves and a mask) and wipe the copper to factory finish in seconds. 🎉🎉 cheers.
I'm not here to disrespect this video but if you want to clean copper you need ( tarn-x ) two wipes and clean and you can even pour it back in bottle if you using it and it's dirty looking after cleaning. I use tarn-x inside and out side my parrot mainly and wow it cleans in seconds. Wipe clean rinse and reuse 👍👍👍
Okay, I understand how to clean copper. However, do you have any idea of how to clean copper contacts on a bandsaw butt welder? The copper plates are used to hold the bandsaw blades in place, and then they're welded together. Simple process with a machine designed to do so. However, it's an old machine, and now, even though the bandsaw blade is contacting the upper and lower surface on the copper, the weld is only happening on the bottom and not the top, which indicates that the copper plates need to be cleaned of years worth of carbon. There is NOTHING else that can be cleaned without addressing the electricity, and sometimes the weld works. That indicates the plates. I have looked EVERYWHERE for how to clean the plates on the bandsaw butt welder, but find absolutely nothing. So, as these plates seem to be able to be removed for cleaning, do you have any thoughts? Don't touch it and let a pro clean it? Simply take off the plates and clean them of all of the carbon and slag that's built up over several decades? I volunteer at a 50+ shop. We buy band saw blades by the foot in 100 ft rolls and have to butt weld to make new blades. Cheapest way to go. Two of us supervisors, who can weld blades, tried numerous times over the course of 3 hours and the consistent problem was the upper plate. Would weld on the bottom half, but not the top. Weld failed every time, until the one time we got lucky and it welded sufficiently on both sides. Still holding. I'm assuming the easiest fix is that the upper plates need cleaning. Can you help?
This is the complete opposite of an ASMR video. Between the sound of him breathing, and the sound of that salt scraping against the side of that container I want to stab my ears out
Thanks for the hard work and demonstration. Keep up the work

Suggestions on sealing the raw copper?
Nice video. Think you can spray it on a bay window roof?
The solution is blue because it now contains copper, I wonder if long term use would make the mesh break down…
good question
Why would it if you rinse it
Thank you for the tutorial. Excellent information.
You bet!

Can anybody answer this question… how do you remove a scratch on a copper sink without taking the oxidation out…
Maybe sand it, then let it oxidate again
Mix them both together and call it a day lol
