The second girl chose the wrong career in Perfumery. 1st - I believe its Sauvage EDP and its fresh, citrusy and spicy but not watery. 2nd - Blue de Chanel EDP is not floral at all. It's fresh warm and spicy. Floral ? Blue de Chanel in Park? Picnic? 3rd - Jazz Club is not musky tho. The vetiver is a bit woody. overall I can agree here powdery yes. But more of boozy and sweet. 4th - Dylan Blue headache? Cmon it's the best smelling Versace fragrance and it's warm and fresh. This one is actually a bit watery unlike Sauvage. 5th - Prada L'homme is the best office/work/WFH fragrance guys. You can safely blind buy it. It has IRIS so it's a buy sweet also. But in a good way.
I feel you bro, but unfortunately outside the perfume community, people come up with kind of reactions only, none of my friends know what Iris is 🤣, the true appreciation is from people who know perfume, but these reactions are also great as predominantly I get these myself

From the reactions, I feel they are actually smelling the full drydown of these perfumes.....otherwise Sauvage and Dylan Blue are practically Ambroxan bombs.....they're very sharp and project loudly.....and the same goes for BDC too coz of Iso E Super.....one thing I would suggest is that dark and fresh perfumes shouldn't be compared to each other because they have totally different characteristics.....so instead of Jazz club you could have included Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir EDT

Dylan and Sauvage, maybe because of the Ambroxan but Prada L'homme is completely different. Anyway, everyone has a different nose. However in such tests spraying on a fresh strip will give them the idea of the opening and then smelling the dry down on previously prepared strips would give a different perspective.

For a perfumery student I was a little disappointed that she didn't mention any of the notes. That's what I like about ATH's reviews. As a perfumer himself he brings the knowledge of aroma chemicals and their distinct characteristics. Of course he's a seasoned guy and this girl was just a student, so can't compare.
I back this order... Dylan blue just lacks the character for me. It's really nice and can be good for people who don't want to spend much and want a designer blue everyday safe fragrance.
