With all due respect, what would be the benefit to this as opposed to simply generating a 46 chip, cutting the blade and then doing the normal on board GM programming procedure? I imagine it would be much quicker and wouldn’t require internet either; not hating as I’m sure this can come in handy in some situations, but just putting it out there!

I’ve found aftermarket keys to be absolute junk. I try to find deals on eBay and such on the OE stuff and never have issues.

There's usually more than 1 way to tackle a key. This is just 1 of many examples.
@@EntryExpert absolutely correct, I imagine this would help mostly in a situation where the car already has max keys learned to it
