Layinkas explanation of what dua is and it being something we all have access too and Allah did not put any barrier between it just gave me chills. We don’t have access to huge leaders in this world but yet we have access to the King of Kings through the simple act of dua Allahu Akbar
I make dua because i love asking allah, like for example i have a genetic condition that cant be cured. Its the rarest of rare. But i ask Allah to cure it because i love the feeling of asking him the impossible. I love that he can do the impossible so why not ask? I also know that by asking it he has made my life easier than it could be with this condition. He is getting me through life though its v difficult for me, and he has given me the strength to conceal the difficulties i face with it, and help me control the frustration that comes with it, because if i felt all that I should be feeling because of that condition I would be in a very dark place.
i have been listening to tea talk ever since it came out 4 years ago, the amount all three of them have helped me grow is a gift from allah. I still joke with my children that while they get to watch narouto i can watch tea talk

As someone who's experienced childhood sexual abuse, I'm curious to understand the correlation between someone's experience and worshipping Allah. I'd love for you to expand, as I personally can't see the connection, so feel unclear about the assumed place of privilege.
