Good video. Have you ( or anyone who may read this) had any issues with the dynaudio sound system? Bought my 08 xc70 used and one of very few issues is I only have sound from the front and rear drivers side doors. If I turn the balance all the way over to the passenger side it is very very faint. Didn’t know if it was due to the install of the factory Bluetooth accessory or not.

I doubt this will help but you could try it. Try a factory reset. But it does sound like some wire has been pulled out or the Aux cable has been damaged.... is it the same when you get an incoming call.
@@zigzag7194 yeah same all the time... calls, aux port, Bluetooth....
It is all fiber. I’d check your amp under the front seat. Factory head unit is also notoriously junk and a bit expensive to replace but well worth having a good shop do it for you.

I knew all these features, there's another feature, you didn't showed.
Beneath the driver seat - theres the passenger seat.
You can tilt the backrest of it.
Behind the backrest they're two small lever (right in the corner of the seat), you need to push both and then push the backrest and it will fall forward.
So if you have some long items for transportation you can transport them easily. Or you have to transport someone which needs to level up his leg in cause of hospital advices for example.

I think you can close all windows and the roof when you press lock for a couple of seconds on the remote key fob.
Yes this is true and useful
On my 2013 S60 I can just press lock twice, then press and hold the little light button on the fob until the car starts. Car remains locked, don't have to go outside in the cold to warm it up if the car is close to the house.
i have just watched a you tube video on this remote start feature and the overriding assumption is that it is only available in US vehicles, is this true?
@@deepfryblue I would think it would work on any 2013 Volvo with the fob. I mean, it is cold in Sweden too and they would like to start their car before going outside. Give it a try on yours.
Not all come with ride height adjusting dampers. Mine is 2007 it has auto adjusting head lamps instead. Window heater actually has a manual override. Go to the infotainment system menu and you can turn off that auto option. I consider Volvos are seriously underrated vehicles (hope it will stay like that for my next used Volvo price to stay low). 14 years old my car has more options than most modern cars. I bought it for 3K and 4 years later with 120K still runs fine and still comfier than most new ones on the road. Why are people always fond of new cars is weird. Probably the UK's number plate shame. Perhaps UK should not put registration year on the number plate. New car sales will go down.

Highly recommend the xc70 p3 platform, I bought one in September £140 on tax great on miles, recommend general at3 types (off road tyres) if your wheels are 55 235 17
If you’re getting one I would recommend one that is 2012 or newer model, 215 bhp engine and get one with Premium sound system. Also on models after 2012 you can activate remote start function for winter months.
Im lazy...but you are welcome to do the whole manual. Ok, Im swedish...but You now the problem, RTFM...(read the fucking manual). I had a very bad highbeam on my S80 2007. Small reflectors and H11 65w, but I put in Led for about 60£ with 3 years guarantee from Xenonkungen.se. The same with the backinglights, LED with its own reflector. I can also recomend "Nightbreaker" +150% light for the daytime runninglight. In sweden they are the strongest halogen that are legel. They are a little blue in the light, but the highbeam are very blue. Before you do anything, be sure that the canbus accept the new lamps! A newer car is even more sensitive. Do not ever replace one shock at the time. When one side blows oil out the remaining one needs to do twice the weight. And therefore wears out way faster. Especially with nivomat levelling shocks.
I'm not going to say I haven't done it but insurance companies will not pay out if someone should nick your car with the remote in it. If you have a electrical Gate or a sleeping police man it's more possible to do Just something to think about for your audience. 👍🏿
Tho when you locked the car with the physical key ONLY the drivers door got locked - so your car could still be stolen I guess if they saw this and went inside from the Passenger door?
No because when you use the lock button inside it locks all doors and when you get out it only unlocks the driver door :)
