I went to Chicago, IL last year. I seen so many cars with rust damage. Apparently the salty roads in the winter can cause this. I’m assuming
You are correct. MI roads are de-iced via salt as well. It’s hell on paint. We like to buy used cars from the south because they are generally in much better condition due to the lack of salt acquired rust
