That range is gorgeous!! What about a brass faucet and then maybe a vintage brass wall sconce for lighting or candles on the other side of the room? You could also use rub n’ buff to change any element in your kitchen to a brass finish.
I was thinking about trying rub n buff for the knobs before I switched to wooden ones. The faucet... I was looking at them online and put in the brand we currently have (previous owner put in) and saw that it was an $1500 faucet. 😳 I feel like I'm married to it now. 😂
Dream stove!!! I enjoy your videos so much! I would put brass hardware for lower cabinets because the stove is lower, that way it’s cohesive to the eye. 💕
I would do the English wood painted knobs on all perimeter cabinets and maybe brass on island. Perhaps then add a brass faucet at the sink. If not wanting to change that out, may a brass accessory somewhere around the sink area like vase, or 2-3 brass knock knacks on those shelves next to sink. Like little bud vases, or a couple gold colored small planters even. Love the new range!
Stunning ! We just ordered a ILVE Majestic II 48” range and I can’t wait to receive it. We chose black with the special Victorian style claw feet. (We live in a Victorian house). Thanks for this video.
I've been researching reviews for ILVE and am not finding positive results for the function of the unit or the customer service. Please let me know how you make out with it. Best of luck. I hope you get a perfect oven with no glitches.
We just got a Nostalgie and mostly like it but the burners constantly go out on simmer. VERY hard to do rice. Thinking about removing the thermocouplers (safety feature). One igniter doesn't work all the time either but I haven't tried fine tuning that burner yet.
That microwave HAS to go and a hood installed that your husband can easily fashion to look country house. I also recommend antiqued Delft tiles behind the stove. Your cupboard knobs should now be switched to polished brass. Base cabinets should be the same color as the range. The shiplap needs to be widened to look more country home. All hubby has to do is fill in every other seam with compound and it will look like you have the wider 8” wide slats which are more the European look you’re going for. Good luck!
I love your new range, gorgeous! The gold details with the antique white is to flattering! Love that corner window but it’s not the best background 💡🤪 Thanks for the video!
I’m drooling over the new stove! Have you considered spray painting your metal knobs with a rusteolum type paint? It may save you some money and give you the same look.
I have considered painting them and I'm thinking that might be my first step before replacing them with wooden ones. It doesn't hurt to try, right? 😊 Thanks for watching.
Love your coffee mug, it is from a set of dishes? Looks like you guys are on the finish line to getting the kitchen done which will be really nice, I love to cook and cant even imagine having my kitchen torn up. Love the looks of the range will you be painting your cabinets to match the warm cream color? Yes I would replace the knobs on the cabinets to match the range (brass). When the hood is done I would add a stripe of Brass on the hood. It is a beautiful range. Add a tray to the island in brass there are many places you could add brass.
SO many good ideas! Thank you. The mug was from a friend and is an English ironstone. I'd love to replace the cabinets, but that won't happen for some time.
I would do wood knobs or brass to tie in with the range, esp if you are phasing out the stainless. I would also consider repainting your white cabinets an off white to tie in better with your range or a creamy green or blue (at least the bottom cabinets).
Beautiful range. What about painting the lower cabinets the same colour as your range? They would go beautifully with your granite. You could also beef up the trim and mantle at the fireplace and paint that antique white. Add a few french brass containers on the counter to bring more of that feel to the kitchen, or possibly a brass faucet at the sink. Looks great.
The range is so beautiful!! Thank you for explaining why you choose this perticutlar range. The casserole looks delicious! Have you added more brass yet?
Maybe change your kitchen cabinet knobs to match the stove knobs. Maybe just the bottom cabinets and use painted wooden ones on the top cabinets. 🤷♀️ maybe?
Let me know what you think of the new range! How do you feel about the antique white? I love it!

English tea kettle with brass handle. brass faucet and maybe glass with brass door pulls.
Absolutely beautiful, I am so glad you didn't talk yourself out of it.
Thank you so much. I am glad I didn't either. 😊

Oh my goodness, this range is absolutely STUNNING! The brass handles are such a beautiful touch. Also, that breakfast casserole looks delicious 😋
Thank you so much! Your comment is so kind. 😉
That range is gorgeous
Thank you Renee!

oooo... so smart to do brass on the island!!!!! Thank you!
It is BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you, Crystal!!

I'd also love to hear what you think as I too haven't seen/read the best reviews.

Congratulations on your new range beautiful!! Definitely I think the knobs gotta go🌷✨
I think you're right. 😊
Also, I say white wooden knobs! I would look at antique stores for a brass vase and maybe a brass salt and pepper shaker??
oooo... brass accent decor- smart!

You can change out ur refrigerator pulls for brass and maybe also add dress candle sticks, bowl, peper/salt mills ,spoons
So many good ideas! Thank you!
Hope you decided to add a brass faucet and knobs throughout
A beautiful range! Perhaps knobs that have white and brass.
I need to look for some like that. I am sure I can find some online! Thank you.

Thank you for watching! I agree, it's not the best background. I'm trying to change things up to add variety and the windows aren't the best. :)
Wow beautiful
Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
How about installing a brass kitchen fauset

You're so right! That color would look amazing with the granite!!
Beautiful
Thank you, Laurie.

White wooden knobs would look great!
I think so too! Thanks for weighing in! :)

Hmmm... that could work! Thank you! 😊
Where did you purchase your range?
Beautiful kitchen 😊
Some brass candle holders??
I have some, so I'll put them out and see how they look! Thank you!
Where in the Midwest are you? I’m Moving to MO soon and I’m very curious about life there. There’s a lot of misperception about the Midwest I think.
Brass tap? curtain rod? cabinet knobs?
All great ideas- thank you!

Please share the recipe for the breakfast casserole
I just tagged it in the recipe. :) Thanks for watching!
Is there someone in your area that can service the oven? Tia!
Are you still loving you ILVE? I want to make the leap but am hearing so much negative regarding issues and support from company as time passes yr1-2…
I'm also curious. I love the look but hear their performance and support aren't great.
I think your cabinets are calling for brass hardware, not wood.
