Growing up, I was super invested in Harry Potter, seeking something higher than myself, something that would give me something to believe. Now, as a christian woman, I see that I was so lost and drowning in all of the darkness and spiritual perversion that it portrays.
I am so grateful to have turned away from such things as Harry Potter and to have faith and life through Jesus Christ.

Of course Jesus! I was already grown when Harry Potter craziness started. I'm glad my younger brothers never wanted to read the books or watch the movie. I'm sure the fact that they weren't interested is because of our parents warning all 3 of us that it's demonic and evil
It's amazing to hear how some parents do the right thing and that they discouraged these types of things, I only hope that there are more people that become as wise and discerning like this. It is fantastic to hear that your younger brothers were not interested in the books or movies.
From experience and observation, the books will paint a strong image in the reader's mind, and if they then watch the films, it will only solidify and become stronger.
When the themes and images are portrayed visually and then you add the sounds and music to the visuals, it further sticks themes and imagery in your mind. In doing so, it will shape your beliefs, values, and actions. It takes a while to disentangle those beliefs from one's mind after such reinforcement. It is sad to see it so openly now, it's everywhere where children can be subject to it. We can only hope and pray that many will turn to God and see the deception at work.

What does the underground tunnels have to do with anything? It's literally a mode of transport for cast members to get to certain areas on stage without worrying about guests. They are also very strict about cast members being in their themed areas. We wouldn't want a Tomorrowland cast member walking around the Frontier Land area and vice versa.

I remember being real young when the first Harry Potter came out and i went with my other cousins to see it in theaters (it wasn't really my idea to see it. I just went just to get out the house). I have a question. There are some theologians and websites online and even jk have explained that… Harry Potter relates to Jesus Christ. That the series has to do with having power over death..which relates to Jesus Christ. Bc there’s movies like the chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis that’s a fantasy movie..what’s the difference between being able to tell a biblical story using fantasy….than just witchcraft and the occult. Didn’t let my kids read HP or go to the movies either. Raised them in church. Prayed with them and talked to them about the seriousness of all of this mess. After growing up they still gravitated towards it and exposed my grandkids to it. Other family members faithful to a conservative church simply view it all as nothing more than fun and entertainment. This is most troubling when everything is done to get the message across but still gets it claws in your loved ones. Still praying and believing for miracles. We need a mighty move of the Lord!

I honestly don't know man. Just thinking aloud here. I read the books when I was a kid, and I still read them now from time to time. At the end of the day those books in my mind are on the same level as the "three little pigs" and "a wrinkle in time." Perhaps this is one of those cases whereby if your conscience isn't bothering you over it then there's nothing wrong. Because honestly, mine isn't. I'm also thinking about the themes I imbibed from those books as a child: friendship, loyalty, bravery, good vs evil, love (which is what protected Harry), sacrifice (as in Harry's parents sacrificing their lives to protect him, Dumbledore sacrificing his sanity and strength in the cave for Harry to escape, Dumbledore again sacrificing his life in the tower for his friends, Snape sacrificing his whole life in atonement for joining Voldemort, and the list goes on). The magical element isn't different to me than any other fantastical stories about dragons, dwarfs and fairies. Is the issue that children won't be able to separate the mythical world of this story with the real world we live in? The witches and wizards in those books are like cartoons. I would look with skepticism at anything that comes from Disney though. We are all aware of the evil and propaganda that they are spreading. But Harry Potter was a book before Disney made the movies. I just never felt pulled away from Christ at all when I read them.

It is the corrupted, twisted version of the Flood, where angels and humans marry, and it sounds rather romantic and wow, when you realise that the baby of the human wife tore her ...uh, opening, Refer back to the giants of the Bible. And "God" of the book Many Waters sanctioned the marriage of an angel (male) and a human female. It was a mess.
I read somewhere that J.K. Rowling was inspired by a spirit to write Harry Potter. Such a fact isn't likely for her to publicly admit it in any mainstream interview.
I was about 9 years when i watched my first ever harry potter movie,from that day,my parents would tell me i began sleep talking and walking and they would say i would talk to unseen beings while pointing to where the beings were.

I was so into the movies growing up and while being a young adult. SMH a typical millennial.. 😔 I didn’t see it as more than just movies, because I was never into actually getting into witchcraft, ever! But 2 years ago, as I started taking my walk with Christ more seriously and going through spiritual warfare, I starter reflecting and researching and I ended up throwing away all my Harry Potter stuff! I useto love Harry Potter when I was in the world. I had all the movies and when I came to Christ in 2021. I knew that I had to get rid of the movies and no longer watch them. I didnt grow up in the church so obviously didn’t think it was wrong. When God opened my eyes to the truth, there was no turning back. I havent watched those movies and don’t miss it. You have to leave the desires of your flesh at the feet of Jesus and he will help you.
