I'm pretty sure if I remember correctly the signal at 6:19 is a real transmission from I think a rover in space singing itself happy birthday like sometime before it shut down. which is cool and sad
That is the Curiosity rover. It is indeed a real transmission where in 2013, the Curiosity rover sang itself Happy Birthday to celebrate the landing of Curiosity which occurred a year ago. Curiosity did not shut down and is still working to this day with very minor errors.
This has been mentioned numerous times on the internet before. Curiosity isn't really a "robot" so much as it is a very expensive R/C car with an enormous input delay. The signal in question is what happened when NASA commanded Curiosity's rock sampling unit to power on and off in specific patterns in order to create sound. So basically it's not so much "robot sings happy birthday to itself" as it is "NASA geek paid to play the most expensive drill ever built like a remote-controlled musical instrument because why not."
Congrats on finally getting her. Glad I could help out. :) Apparently, magenta can vanish on save/load, so best keep her in some sort of storage container. If it does vanish, you can always still get it in sandbox and use the method I used in my comment on the other video. From info getting passed around, the others Argems are going to be a bit tricky, especially *one of them*. I wish you good luck on your search, should you continue. Also, something I learned that you could try out: so, when the Obelisk crashes, it seems to launch giant rocks everywhere. It would seem that these rocks are still valid to get the runes, and they have some... interesting results.
Thank you! Also congrats to you for figuring this out in the first place, because I don't think I ever would have been able to. Yeah, I've noticed that the gal kept disappearing on me when she wasn't in some form of storage, thankfully I have multiple saves with her in my inventory so she's not lost. I will keep the sandbox method in mind just in case tho. Speaking of the other argemias, I just managed to get the yellow argem to cooperate. Apparently, Maxwell and Argemwell have been eating the shrimp I laid out, and simply shipping them to a different save didn't help. So, I had to reset objects and events to actually get yellow. I did notice the bigger rocks that spawned, but I didn't think that they would work with the rune methods. I'll have to try that when the obelisk falls again. Also about *that argemia*, I am really not looking forward to hunting it.
@@Assassinscreed_fan708 I'm sorry, I didn't notice your other comments. I don't really heart comments too often. As for replying, I try to only comment when I think I need too. I.e. with questions or if I can actually think of something funny to reply with.
@@ThreeCatsinaRaincoat I haven't tried to get yellow yet, afraid of the Arirals eating the shrimp and ruining the whole thing. I've been digging for items in my save for a while now, and I know the chance of getting the gold ingot is so incredibly slim, but I can't help but try. I actually managed to dig up an Earth Rune right outside of my base, didn't even know that method still worked.
@@ThreeCatsinaRaincoat Obtaining a golden ingot for the golden argemia plush is a genuine waste of time. As far as I'm aware the spawn chance hasn't changed in 0.6.3b. From what I've gathered these argemias weren't added with the intention of the player obtaining them but rather for the developer's own amusement. I recommend just cheating by opening the cheat menu in sandbox, clicking the bottom of the screen and typing summon prop_goldeningot_c to create an ingot.
I've thought about doing that before, but I figured that it may increase the editing time substantially or people would find it annoying. I may try it with the next video just to test the waters.
@@justcallmealex1628 Thank you! I was wondering what that was. I don't think that the red wisp was tied to that signal. Sometimes while I'm walking around, I've seen the red wisp just appear without any signal. Also the entity in the signal's image is a Tanneul, which is a forest spirit that can only be seen through cameras. Past change logs have led me to believe that they were removed. However, I have been told that they are still in the game but I still haven't seen them.
this is so much funnier when i got this argemia by accident, i recorded the "bubble gum" signal, there was a bright flash, went over there and found the Argemia just as the engine was taking off (even snatched a photo with kerfus and the engine)
I found this and nuclear by chance, I just left the signal to cook while going exploring and got near uniform for lulz, other time I was looking for animal skulls around a transformer, then suddently I see some weird thing and though it was another radioactive thing but then I saw it was just a simple shrimp addicted space catfish
I thought that it was a Tanneul, but I wasn't exactly sure. The first change log for 0.6.3 said that they were removed so I didn't even think to set up a camera for em.
i really appericate how you list out all the songs used
Now need yellow argemia
Gotta use a gravity gun for that one, and start a new save where the catfishes still haven't show up
Red

You should add little animal crossing noises whenever you guys talk. Like cruelty squad or something.

And I'm almost positive that signal was related btw

Magenta is my most favorite Argemia plush.
Goooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best vov youtuber
Uhh, so I ended up getting that signal and at the time I didn't know what it was, I saved it. I'm now on day 36.
I liked how i heard Deus Ex The Conspiracy's rat death sound right at the beginning.
Haven't played this in a while, what is up with Kerfus? Is this new or a mod?
Surprisingly enough, it isn't a mod. You can get a recipe to upgrade Kerfus from the bunker.
1:11 probably a red wisp
Great music as always. Also, the poster of the that two tailed creature getting shocked, what game is that character from?
It's Kokonoe 's electrocuted sprite from BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma
@@ThreeCatsinaRaincoat Thank you. That poster and character seemed familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
is there a website or something similar listing where and how to find all the argemias?
There's the VOTV secrets website, I've referenced it in the past but here's a link:
