Wildfires, lightning and extreme heat plague California amid coronavirus pandemic

- Thousands were under evacuation orders in Central and Northern California as dozens of major wildfires continued to ravage parts of the state on Aug. 19. Firefighters and evacuees sought ways to socially distance as they battled the fires.
Sparked by more than 20,000 lightning strikes and intensified by record-breaking heat, fires have erupted all over the state, spewing large columns of smoke and fouling air quality. The fires and evacuations continued expanding on Aug. 19.
San Francisco elevated its air quality alert status to red, meaning people are encouraged to stay indoors with windows and doors shut, especially those who most endangered by poor air quality, such as children, older adults and anyone with respiratory ailments. Such a disingenuous news sound bite. Instead of wasting your time tracking mythological "climate change", you should track tangible conservation efforts. Maybe then you'd find that the main reason for the CA wild fires is because our state governor and past governor had pulled the budget for forest wildlife conservation. The same wildlife conservation that go through to clear out dead dried out highly flammable foliage, and create fire ditch trenches, that aid in wildfire prevention.

Keep in mind, often times fighting in the frontlines. These men and women are also often times in jail bc of petty crimes (most likely because of Harris). Also, underpaid to fight in the frontlines.

The fires in 1967 burned to the edge of our property line!, We soaked our wood shingle roof with water until we were evacuated at midnight! We left sprinklers on overnight!

They want to try to feed more people lies to frighten them about fake Co2 Out Of Control Global Warming. I guess they did not know NASA GIS lead scientist in Greenland said a 20 year cooling trend started in 2016. Totally ignoring the rising Co2, the climate decided to take a 20 year break and cool the ocean and start regrowing the main glacier in Greenland as well as many others around the world.
I don't think they know the hottest heat wave on recent record was in 1913 around the death valley area. They also appear to not know it was much much much hotter 125,000 as well as 400,000 years ago and the Co2 was in the 300PPM range which is much lower than the current 413PPM. Both of which are very low considering during the Jurassic and Triassic periods the Co2 was a nice 2,000PPM range.

Id say the homelessness is way more of an issue than the protests as someone who lives in the bay area surrounded by the protests. In the bay area its mostly remained peaceful, but south California probably has it worse than us. Covids also starting to take a toll on every city here except for SF

2020 has struck again
Record shattering heat wave unless you count 99.999% of the earth's climate cycles. 125,000 and 400,000 years ago it was much much much hotter than nowadays. The Co2 was in the 300PPM range also, which is much lower than the current 413PPM. The hottest recent heat wave was Death Valley famously holds the record for the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth, which is 134 degrees. This record was set on July 10, 1913. 1913, not 2020.
I live in Florida and the weather has been kind of pleasant for the last few years.
This is because of the 20 year cooling trend that started in 2016.
There is an article in the National Geographic Magazine about the cooling.
They are interviewing the NASA GIS Study lead Scientist's.

The situation in California is Bad Land Management by the Democratic-run state. No Forest clean up. but at the same time let people build woodhouses. Miles and miles of open dead grasses. @TexasPROUD first of all wildfires in California don't burn anywhere close to half the state. The California landscape is also much more diverse than Texas. And don't forget that 46% of California land is managed by the FEDERAL government.
