That story of how that “beautiful voiceover” was discarded 11:00 was really fascinating both because of how Isaac Chung and Steven Yeun realized that it didn't work and because of the insight of _why_ it didn’t work: their parents _did_ suffer and _did_ sacrifice-and their sons might want to recognize and honor that-but their parents don’t need that validation or, for that matter, _any_ validation at all. They lived (and are still living) their lives, with hopes, dreams, disappointments, and tragedies, as anyone does.
This is an incredibly insightful interview. The questions from Ms. Kennedy are among some of the best that I have heard all season, and Steven Yuen’s answers are thoughtful and thought-provoking. Thanks for the great interview!
One of the best things out of these crazy pandemic is I get chances of listening to people speaking staying in their own comfortable home. I noticed people get to more focused and getting more open to their true themselves. Like Steven Yeun does here. I can listen to him talking all day. However, I cannot wait to go back to normal life i used to live. Especially going places and enjoying people gatherings.
The questions-and the answers-really _are_ fantastic. But I think it would be better to repost this video with Steven Yeun’s name spelled correctly. _EDIT:_ Kudos for fixing the spelling in the thumbnail and the video description at least. 👍
What a beautiful conversation, so thoughtful and honest.
This actor is a philosopher.

Steven Yeun is one of my favorite actors. A brilliant, beautiful and humble human.

Ms. Kennedy’s warm and inviting nature and Steve Yeun's honest and through identity journey is truly touching.

Nice job!
I am so moved by this conversation. So honest, inspiring, and moving.... Thank you. But, please spell his name correctly. It's Yeun, not Yuen.

Yeun is the correct spelling of his name. Please change it in your video.
