The way I see it, we do not need the MIF. We just budget our limited resources and prioritize our expenses. Get rid of the culture of corruption and get rid of unnecessary expenses such as but not limited to confi and intel funds given to agencies which are not traditionally entitled to them.
I have questions.... 1. Why did BBM wanted MIF urgently passed? Does he have a secret personal interest or plan how to take advantage of the fund available in MIF. 2. BBM owned the conceptualization of MIF. Is he now a financial /investment genius? The people who will manage the fund will surely be beholden to him. He can still dictate any decision where to put or invest the fund. 3.The Congress sugar-coated and passed MIF after 3rd reading. A case of self serving and subservient lawmakers who close their eyes in exchange for the benefits they get from the powers that controls their purse strings. Do they serve the peoples interest? 4. MIF is a losing business plan with very low chance of success. Why this has to be pursued aside from being untimely? 5. Hummmm...parang may naalala ako parang style ng PS-DBM scandal ,mga Dept. ng Gobyerno yung budget nila para sa procurement ng supplies nila ibbalik ang pondo nila sa PS-DBM para ito ang bumili ( ex.Pharmally-DOH) eh Pwede namang DOH na ang mgprocure ng Supplies nila ,sa set up ng Maharlika Investment kkunin nila ang pera ng Landbank at DBP para ipautang o inegosyo eh ginagawa na ng Landbank at DBP ang trabahong ito o ang pagpapautang....Ano naamoy nyo.?😆😆😆
Meron akong narinig na" one can invest without asking where his/her invested money come from"! So in this is one case, then, illgotten could be one source! At kung nakapasok na dito sa MIF, magiging legitimate money na!
The way I see it, we do not need the MIF. We just budget our limited resources and prioritize our expenses. Get rid of the culture of corruption and get rid of unnecessary expenses such as but not limited to confi and intel funds given to agencies which are not traditionally entitled to them.
I have questions....
1. Why did BBM wanted MIF urgently passed? Does he have a secret personal interest or plan how to take advantage of the fund available in MIF.
2. BBM owned the conceptualization of MIF. Is he now a financial /investment genius? The people who will manage the fund will surely be beholden to him. He can still dictate any decision where to put or invest the fund.
3.The Congress sugar-coated and passed MIF after 3rd reading. A case of self serving and subservient lawmakers who close their eyes in exchange for the benefits they get from the powers that controls their purse strings. Do they serve the peoples interest?
4. MIF is a losing business plan with very low chance of success. Why this has to be pursued aside from being untimely?
5. The aims maybe good on paper but somebody may undeservely benefit from the availability of this fund. Can we see the likes of 1MDB fiasco of Malaysia that involved their former Prime Minister?
Kailangan ay vigilant tayong mga Pilipino na itigil na yan Maharlika Fund.

With due respect the EX. vice Governor's vlog , as I understand from the Honorable Sen.Imee Marcos, It is risky to invest GSIS , SSS and LB funds in the MIF because of corrupt government officials as we all know how they are like (especially those who don't leave their goverment seats) to prospective honest people.
