    I love how Victoria worded it. That the daughter is to precious to be spoiled. Saying yes all the time can increase a sense of entitlement and encourage a lack of restraint for those who always get what they want. She seems like a sweet girl with a nice family

      Mom was the problem. You cannot give your children everything that you never had, it just doesn't work out well doing that. Giving a child everything they want leaves them not ever waiting or wishing for something so when they finally get it, the reward is even greater instead of just thinking they can have whatever they want and never having to wait to get it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and that works for relationships and material items.

    You can tell in episodes like this that not only is Victoria a great dog trainer and sometimes marriage counselor, but also a great mom with the way she knows just how to talk to children. Also, those parents are raising their kids right; big sister wants to help animals and little brothers are open to helping saved animals.

    This girl has a big heart...instead of taking dogs in she can help shelters with volunteer work like walking and playing with dogs and cats in need and helping staff care for them. She can even get a job trapping cats and dogs so they can get the help they need at the shelter or rescue. She can even help with training dogs to make them more adoptable and do profiles of each animals personality to see which family is right for them. I helped out with a local shelter in NJ by doing those things and if potential adopters came in I'd ask about their lifestyle and what they want in a cat or dog and see if we had matches.

      That really triggered me like you said it’s common sense like even on hoarders living in human feels can make you sick. How do you not think living in animal filth will make you sick that would literally make it even worse you sleeping in a bed that your dog literally peed and pooped on multiple times you’re playing with toys that are soaked in urine. I’m sorry, but the parents failed that part of parenting cannot understand that living in those types of conditions can literally be fatal to your health

    People saying the family is sweet……but how on earth do you parent children and not know that having them sleep in a bedroom full of urine and faeces, including IN THEIR BEDS, is dangerous?! Like seriously?? How do people not know that. It’s like they were totally clueless. The mother even said she had no idea and was upset to know her daughters health had been at risk. I just don’t understand how someone can’t know that dog cr@p is full of bacteria. 🤦🏼‍♀️

    • @PanoramicView-o5p
      @PanoramicView-o5p Рік тому

      That’s exactly what I’m saying show me it’s common sense it doesn’t take a rocket science to know that living in filth can cause a lot of health problems especially living in a room that has a ton of urine and it has a ton of feces in it from your dog the air quality is bad it’s just not healthy. The parents literally like failed at this point with caring for these animals and they’re just leaving the poop on the floor, secondly they need to teach that daughter how to take care of the dog they’re feeding the dog people food which is not good that’s bad for their health and then on top of that the daughter is it taking the dog outside for it to go to the bathroom if she can’t take care of the dog or in and the parents can’t teach her how to OK take care of the litter she don’t need a dog I don’t care how much that kid cries if that dog was a stray Then that don’t need to go to the shelter so that that dog fine to go home because they don’t know who’s dog it is Britney. Secondly, like I said, I don’t care if that girl cries if she can’t take care of the dog or if their parents are in capable of teaching a child how to walk that dog or put that dog outside so he can go to the bathroom then she don’t need a dog is the parent me the train that dog as well that dog needs to learn how to go outside also, the daughter needs to learn how to clean up after the dog the pants just leaving the the poop on the floor. It’s ridiculous.

      well yeah, kids don't have actual things to worry about such as work, bills, etc. they just have to do training and school. parents have to do a lot more, a lot more on their plates, so it's not too surprising someone with oodles on their plate forgets something here and there vs a literal child doing air most of the time.

    Kids don't understand that having a dog means work. That's why parents often say "no" to getting a pet. You have to train and discipline them, walk, play, feed, bath, vaccinate and
    have the money for regular vet checks. More often than not, it's the parents that end up doing all the work.

      Dog had rabies, right? I hope he didn't bite anyone. My parents taught me to never mess with a stray animal---you never know what they may have---parasites, diseases, and rabies worst of all. Once we found a dog showing similar symptoms. Dog was put in the garage, and the authorities notified. Dog was unfortunately put down, and rabies was found in its necropsy. It had not bitten anyone, thankfully. (Jan Griffiths).

    My family loves animals too, and we have several pets we adore. When my daughter started wanting pets we sat down with her and discussed what we could handle, what we couldn't handle, and the care and keeping of the pets we considered. Her first was a bearded dragon, I handled researching setup, food, care, and got the things needed to give him a happy and healthy life and his care (with my watchful eye) became part of her chores. After a few years of proving she was responsible we adopted a cat, which is what she was really excited about, through the same method of research and preparation, and now she feeds and keeps clean both pets. Right now we're planning on adopting a dog as well, but since I'm the one wanting one, their care will be my responsibility. And we have a really happy home with our animals, we love them and do our best to make sure they're happy, and they bring us joy on a daily basis.

    Okay but how did the mother NOT throw out the toys that are stuck in urine?? Or not washing the bed when it's been urinated on?????and I know the mum doesn't want to say no but it could have prevented all these problems, and animals at the dining table???? That is so unhygienic

    I have two dogs they’re both angels. One of them is from the streets. We took him to the vet and he said he has a few texts. We took him off and then we put him in the shelter and it was his eighth day and no one wanted him so we decided to foster himand we fell in love with him so we adopted him. We trend him very well and now he’s a sweet angel loves her home.

    For me the best way to get over really wanting a pet when i knew i couldn't keep it in the house i was in, was volunteering at a dog shelter. By the time I got home from a full 12h day of poop shoveling, food mixing (this is in a developing country with limited resources, so they were getting donations from the food court, what wasn't sold in the day), manually getting water from an old fashioned well, i was done DONE. The dogs weren't kept in individual cages (which was absolutely lovely for them, because they had a pack and weren't alone all day, so they were the happiest pups i'd ever seen). I first walked in there in the morning being all cute and kind and careful with them, but by the end of the day,, i was already super authoritative, cause i had a lot of work to do and couldn't get mobbed by a bunch of bright eyed kissing fiends, if i wanted to actually be able to move around and get things done. By the way, there were hundreds of dogs there and I didn't see one aggressive one.. i think being kept in packs, with a strong leader like the lady who owned the shelter was extremely emotionally healthy for them. I think Brittney can learn to be be a great animal handler and that in a few months, she'll be the one setting down the law and taking care of everybody herself, as long as they work together as a family, to keep the discipline

    11:39 so to sum it up, mom brought her trauma into the family and projects it on her daughter.
    Every kid wants a pet, and its parents like that, that send hundreds of cats and dogs in shelters and the streets.
    If this continues, that girl will run the house by 16 and will be so devastatingly ill prepared for adult life......
    How is it not mandatory to go to a dog trainer?!!

    Dogs require a lot of time and training and the family all needs to agree on the same approach. I also fight with my mother about the dogs begging at the table. I never give in so they dont ever beg me but they beg my mother because she always gvies jn. Then she complains when they cry and Im like, thats 💯 your doing.

    I'm feeling a bit confused with what I just saw. Can anyone explain to me what is the point of buying a new bedding if this family doesn't understand basic hygienic rules? There is a thing called washing mashine that you normally use at least onece a week or two. In many countries letting your kids live in a room full of urine and feces would be considered as neglect and face serious legal consequences.

    • @douglasgriffiths3534
      @douglasgriffiths3534 Рік тому +1

      Her room was cleaned, and Victoria gave her a baby gate to keep the dogs out. I'm sure they had a washer and dryer. You need to use a urine destroyer along with detergent to remove all traces of urine when washing. (Jan Griffiths).

    In my country, these parents would be accused of neglecting children and social service would take away their children. I completely agree with this, so let the dogs remain if they are more important to them than the health of the children.

    • @robinchanteusedylan8326
      @robinchanteusedylan8326 11 місяців тому

      Surprising that Victoria didn´t mention Diego not being neutered...very obvious he wasn´t. Don´t know if Bailey wasn´t altered. Neutering would probably have decreased their marking behavior.
