For me the standout moments were ultimate live experience and the ferocious nature of his performances. act II and the incredible mix of new and old. Hit n run. The spontaneity and reinvention of the songs. So many memories. Just wish I could relive them with HD Quality footage.
I was at the 21 nights in London, 1st time seeing him it blue me away. But it took me 10 years to realise what I’d seen. Now I’m obsessed with him and miss him so much. I do feel for fans ho never got to see him because he was something man the best of the best 🤩
My favorite era & tours of all time are The ultimate GOLD live experience& ACT II !!! I met the NPG too saw a couple of gigs for both tours (inc Wembley stadium- with the best seats - so lucky) - incredible!!! The live exp tour was One for the hardcore fans - the 90s were everything !
One Night Alone tour is awesome for it’s blues jazz musicianship. My faves being Budoken with Prince’s slowed down version of Gotta Broken Heart Again and Maceo absolutely killing it on saxophone. Hong Kong and Shhh is my most watched video ever😅
Great video again Lads,I have been lucky 2 witness some great Prince tours in England ,nude,21 nights,Manchester Academy but my favourite experience was Hop Farm, a festival.Prince didn’t need a fancy stage,his talent shone through.Welcome 2 America tour ( Europe) 2011.👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🎸

Totally agree i was also waiting for him to do Shh at the O2 its an all time favourite for me so when he did and then made a spectacle of it i was so happy… it was a real crescendo!
Sign O’ The Times - how did I not wear out my VHS tape? Amazing. I saw ACT II at Birmingham in 1993. I remember he did “She’s Always In My Hair”. Also recall lots of funky jams.
Lovesexy was the album that got me fully into Prince, but I didn’t see the tour (my first concert was D&P 1992). Let’s face it, all his tours were great, but there’s something about Lovesexy Live that elevates it even above SOTT for me. I don’t think anyone has come up with a better conceived and executed concept for a concert tour. Just a totally immersive trip into Prince world.
Best thing for me about the nude tour was - his outfits !!! Obvs joking its the music but he looked amazing with his mane of hair and those one pieces… yeah his theme was always across the board for each tour/era he even had matching BMWs 😂
My memory of Ultimate Live Experience is not as clear as Ant’s. But now you mention it, I remember that he did “I Love U In Me” - which I knew because I had The Hits/The B-Sides triple CD. And yes, “7” was also done, near the end if I recall. What a performer. Just someone you could not take your eyes off.
Also agree that D&P was a superb tour the concert that weve all seen so many times on yt does need to be released along with any other release that they might be announcing . I saw him at Manchester and so much more happened that wasn’t on the footage weve seen so im hoping theres more in the vault they can add - how exciting would that be?
Ah no worries, we had pre-recorded it so we weren't live. Mr Ants has to edit out all my random mistakes 😆He also has to make sure I actually stop talking at some point as I would go on for hours !
My first tour shouldve been sign o the times… obvs cancelled in uk so it was LoveSexy and i actually prefer that concert anyway - had amazing seats (wonder if that wa bc my ticket was cancelled the year before?) and had a plastic peach carnation handed to me by P - for 16yo me my mind was blown!!!
Ive left so many comments theres so much more i could say I kinda wish i was with you both sharing experiences - fantastic video so great to hear ppl talk about things i wish i could constantly talk about but its a joke in my family whenever i ask a question they all shout “was it prince by any chance?” hahaha… but listening to you means i know its not just me!! Love you guys thanks for this x

Great choices especially the number one. I can remember when they played SOTT on TV in 1994 and I only saw the last bit of it, as my mother had her 40th birthday that night and we had hired a stripper who promptly took his kit off to "My name is Prince". Just a tad disappointed that nothing pre 1986 made the cut - I am sure Triple Threat must have got close - but as we know that was when he was more an American rather than global phenomenon.

I watch the YT every night and of course you do the livestream when I am down in Christchurch and away from the computer, darn the luck!
