Great point about not having a favorite band, because it is so true Prince re-arranged songs with different bands. I do really like a lot of his rearrangements performed later in his career, and all the versions he did of most songs. So the common denominator is always Prince

Yes De, I agree the reload I think it's called "Let's go crazy" 2013. I think is the best version. I. never cared for the other versions, can tolerate them played live, I want to see him singing it. But he still has 100 better songs I'd rather hear. CL did you go to prince's concerts with him? I know he always had 2 dozen people around him. I said this before, don't know if it was here or not. But have any of you noticed how many songs prince's lyrics say "I want a friend " worded different ways? He seemed lonely, but at the same time he also had too much fun for one person. Oh, I noticed at the 8.3.83 concert, it seemed like at the last minute he decided not to sing the lyrics to purple rain. It looked like he was about to start and a second later he decided to just play it. They weren't ready.

So no recording was used from the 8.3. for the album purple rain? I thought I read that some songs on that day were used.
