I remember when normal Cholesterol (ON THE RESULTS PAGE) was 4.5 to 7.5 And then strange things happened, they put all of us onto thing called Lipostable or Lurcelle and when Zocor came out suddenly the results started going lower and lower. I would know because my family were in the danger zone.

More recent research has shown that high cholesterol (even high LDL) isn't actually harmful. Having an LDL under 100 on the other hand increases mortality, the less LDL, the higher mortality. The problem with LDL is that it's susceptible to glycation, and it's glycated LDL that clogs arteries, so high blood sugar is what makes LDL bad.
Very much appreciated presentation Dr Malhotra, thank you. As a critical care nurse, I have experienced profound cognitive dissonance in the last year, when the corruption and abuses became obvious in the last two years. Thank you for standing strong for truth. May God make His face to shine upon you and bring you His shalom (peace).
There has never been a better time to be a natural and/or functional medicine practitioner. Paleo/Keto/Carnivore food plans combined with physical activity are the foundation of every treatment plan. My patients are doing well and my integrity remains intact.
I left 20 year career as an anesthesiologist to practice real medicine directed to helping people be(come) healthy. In addition to diet and activity/lifestyle, I find that a lot of what I am doing is helping people de-supplement as well as de-prescribe. One fault that I have with a lot of functional and narural based medical practice is the perpetual addition of supplements and phytochemicals, essentially approaching health from the same perspective as allopathic physicians but using "natural pharmaceuticals" in place of synthetic chemicals.
Yeah, the establishment has gone so far down an insane path, it's straightforward to be a hero. "In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king." Good for you and your patients!
@@edpomi To be fair, treating a magnesium deficiency with therapeutic levels of supplemental magnesium is appropriate and correct. I'm certain we'd both agree that it's a better option than treating Mg deficiency with a SSRI, laxative, calcium channel blocker, beta blocker, muscle relaxant, sedative, CBD, turmeric, etc. I frequently recommend what I consider to be clinically relevant vitamin and mineral supplements, medicinal herbs, homeopathics, and nutraceuticals such as Vitamin D or DHEA. Topsoil degradation, chronic cortisol dysregulation, total body toxin burden... all require additional therapy that Diet and Lifestyle improvements alone could not address.

Dr. Malholtra, et. al., this is really out of the box, but health begins in our soils. As such, why not bring farmers, agronomists, and soil scientists into your mix.
Great point, but I fear the waters are even more muddied over there. I get a bit tired by the 'big food' pushing of a high-processed carb 'vegan' food style, where eating cheese, eggs and meat is shamed for climate reasons. You can find that every day and on every other marketing for highly processed food. I think proper, truly conventional (i.e. pastoral production of animal foods) can be done ethical and can be ecological, e.g. by rebuilding of soil quality. For the climate impact of agriculture I recently worked through the latest IPCC report and didn't find much on climate impact. I have to search more throughly, but at least I found that pastoralized lifestock does carbon sequestration and soil improvement. So in the nutrition department on the climate and ecosystem impact there is at least as much 'gospel truth' repetition of poorly understood facts as in the statin field, unfortunately...
Agree- true health of soil follows on In healthy crops along side crop rotations with field fallowing for 7 yrs. Like you need rest & reviving , soils too are drained of goodness & sprayed continually with pesticides. Crop vale depreciated over time. It's good to see someone with balls to stand up against powerful interests groups who will attack and try to discredit them. I'm 66 years old. I went on a keto diet six months ago and lost 60 pounds, my blood pressure went from high to normal, my blood work improved and I no longer use a cpap for sleep apenia. Hard to argue against these results
It's easy to argue with the results, you could have had the same effects with any caloric restriction diet and probably had a better influence on the actual diabetes itself now by dropping the saturated fats.
@@cyberfunk3793anyone believing that saturated fats cause diabetes doesn't understand the disease. It is a carb issue not saturated fats issue. Read Dr Ben Bikman book "Why We Get Sick". You might learn something.
Almost 70 have eaten carnivore almost 5 years ...when I ate a vegetarian diet I was always looking for the 'magic' answer; eating carnivore I don't need any 'magic'.
When I was diagnosed diabetic in October last year 2021 my doctor wanted to change my diet (probably low FAT), put me on Metformin and take a statin. I told her that you do not make 3 changes at the same time. Thankfully I did my own research on diet and found out about low carb. After only 3 months my A1c had gone from 7.0 to 5.2. If I had taken the drugs they would have probably been lauded by the doctor as having worked. When I got my results I told her that I hoped in the future she would suggest diet before drugs. My following blood test at 6 months ALT liver function had gone from 48 to 22, my cholesterol had improved, and recently I stopped my blood pressure medication (after 10 months of low carb). I've now lost 18.75% of my body weight without even trying and my waist measurement has gone from 44" to 38". No drugs, no fasting, no exercise (except strengthening for my back and legs and light hand weights).
Ketogenic diets can even reverse type 2 diabetes, intermittent fasting helps too, it especially helps to heal a fatty liver(caused by too much sugar, or alcohol).
"I have published saying that statins have reduced mortality in populations, but I think I was wrong and I may need to go back to the journal and get that corrected." I absolutely love this channel and the presenters here.
With Pts I've placed on Crestor, and other Staton, I've seen remarkable benefits in LDL lowering. Believe me, as much as I am disgusted with what's going on in the medical profession right now, this, is at least one thing I can independently state is factual.
@@divinesilence but samadhi, lowering ldl may not be something you want to do…if you don’t have high blood sugar, the LDL is probably not going to hurt you.
You know, I wonder if anynody knows for certain. If you go through all the channels there are 100s of vegan doctors, veg doctors, middle doctors, doctors who have changed their minds (Paul Saladino) and a guy called Frank Fortuna?? It's a "feeding" frenzy. but pharma I can hardly bare. When they lie for filthy lucre, I can't look at them. Look at what happened 2020... Human beings went to bed and locked the door behind them waiting for the 7 o'clock news. What have we become?
After 6 months on keto I had a health assessment. As I'd lost lots of weight my doctor was amazed and said whatever you're doing it is clearly working. But then my blood results came back and the doctor wrote the standardised report that they use for the health assessment. Because my "cholesterol is high" I should cut back on saturated fats and eat healthy whole grains. My triglycerides, by the way, had plummeted from over 4 to 0.5. So when it came to following his corporate reporting template, the same doctor had juat gone with the pre-selected advice regardless of everything else.
“If they disagree with him, debate with him, but don’t silence him.” Excellent point. Censoring means one is afraid of what you are going to say and very likely has a conflict of interest if the information gets out into the public and they change their minds. Allowing open debate means one believes their position is legitimately better or right or at least they support having the public choose the best idea or concept. This is such a critical concept, the US founders included it as the first of the US Constitution’s Bill of Rights. Think, who is doing the censoring now?
I've been on keto for more than 2 years now. Best thing I ever did. I never get hungry, my weight is exactly where I like it to be while eating as much or as little as I like. Side benefits I've noticed since going keto are: I don't snore any-more, I don't get cavities in my teeth any-more and clothes like my motorcycle jacket from when I was 18 fit me again many decades later. I'm pretty strict at home i.e. no bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, orange juice etc even though I still love that stuff but I'm fine eating seafood, meat, butter, cream, cheese, nuts, raspberries and avocados etc. I find when I eat out I can eat the odd none keto food like roast potatoes etc that come as part of a regular meal without any problems. I never count calories. Keto foods are not particularly cheap but I find I eat less so the cost is probably much the same as it was before keto.
Hi! I'm very interested in your keto diet. You make no mention of eggs - I am allergic to eggs - so I've assumed that you don't eat them. If I'm wrong, do you know what else I could eat to cover their nutritional value? Also, is there an alternative to avocados because I can't stand their taste?
@@sueevansProoovviitt Hi Sue. Have you determined what part of the egg you are allergic to? From what I understand, people can be allergic to either the white or the yoke. Therefore eliminating whichever seems to be causing the problem.

One year plus one month on ultra low carb diet, zero sugars , only what comes in some berries. At age 70 now dropped 20 pounds, feel terrific, don’t run out of energy, eat 5 egg as per day, 3 for me 2 for my dog, lots of meats, fish, olive oil coconut oils and I have a CAC score of zero and an HDL of 64. I wish I had know all this 20 or more years ago. Thank God there are some doctors now that understand this, and I hope more get inboard. It is unconscionable that they continue to push drugs that are more harmful and many that provide zero benefit. I guess it’s not good for their bank accounts to promote good health.
Kind of like them getting $3,000 per covid patient that they treat but if they prescribed hydrochloricine or ivermectin they went and get that $3,000. And then they incentivized reporting death so-called attributed to covid-19 in which they got from $35,000 to $75,000 per covid death they report. If you want to know more dig in my covid playlists I've gathered.

This reprehensible state of medical research has been going on for some time, but doctors and statisticians have been afraid of publishing their thoughts for a long time for fear of being called 'conspiracy theorists' or simply gaslighted or for fear of losing their jobs.
Beautiful, and insightful presentation! God bless you for standing up against the status quo in favor of helping your patients with sound and life saving remedies. Many people are finding out that our "western" medical practices needs major overhauling! The emphasis should be for the patients wellbeing and not for financial gain.
The Mediterranean Diet: was originally studied on the island of Crete where the incidence of vascular disease was remarkably low. These results could not be duplicated when taken to the USA. It was later realized that in the community of Crete there were many days of religious fasting which made most of the difference!
The biologist Ancell Keys came up with the theory ( now debunked) that dietary saturated fat caused heart disease after visiting Greece and southern Italy in the early 1950s. His visit occurred during the Greek Orthodox Lent, which calls for a near-vegan diet ( no red meat or dairy, though I believe fish is permitted). Another factor was that Greece’s economy had not recovered from the effects of World War II. Most Greeks could not afford much meat at the time. They were living mainly on bread , vegetables, and olive oil. The Greeks were hungry much of the time - they would drink bowls of olive oil for breakfast, in order to get enough calories. Nowadays, the Greek people eat much more red meat than they did in the 1950s, but their rates of heart disease have remained low. Their diet is also much lower in sugar than the standard American diet. Keys noted that desserts were seldom served during his visit to Greece, but never theorized that the Greeks’ low sugar intake might have contributed to their superior heart health. Incidentally, Keys’es research was funded by the sugar industry. For a more detailed account of Ancell Keyes and his diet-heart theory, I recommend the book “ The Big Fat Surprise”, by Nina Teicholz. It’s well worth reading ( Teicholz has also done videos on the subject of saturated fat and health, for those disinclined to reading.)
I love his work! I am getting back to a healthy diet again, because all problems came back. 😒 I just need to learn that it is a life style change. I also need to remember how crappy I feel eating a SAD diet. 😔. Let today be the first day for the rest of my life!
I am disappointed to hear that he still blames only refined sugar and carbohydrates, not the cheap oil rich in omega-6 that actually copied the curve of increased obesity and metabolic syndrome prior 2010 when I looked at the raw USDA data. Are we still avoiding to name the real culprit: junk food as such? Those on statins and low fat diets are another problem, they should not be mixed with the overall picture of the general population.
i'm glad you named names - that might be the best approach to getting to the truth of the matter. i think people that do wrong things (in any area of life), need to be publicly named - otherwise, they continue doing the wrong thing without any consequences.
I was just talking to a young friend who has been diagnosed with POTs and she has lots of fears and has lost some respect with her health providers. I think your speech will help her🙏
I have a cousin who is on statin and has been for years, her cholesterol was probably 'normal' . She has constant leg pain and recently had a heart attack and three stents put in. So they worked there didn't they? Also had very high blood pressure.
"normal" in itself isn't "optimal" the optimal level where close to zero case of heart diseases are reported is at 57 LDL. "normal" in this context is like "it's normal for an American to be overweight" population in rural Vietnam, Japan and China has ldl fewer 70z-100 points compared to their city's counterparts and westerners. They rarely get heart diseases, THAT is "normal"
Our culture places a high value (i.e., social power) on professions like doctor, scientist, professors, teachers. So, naturally, these professions will attract an abnormally high number of malignant narcissists who realize how "powerful" these professions will make them. If you think it's a good idea to listen to a "collective narcissist," more power to you. What I've noticed is that those who most eager to accept the malignant narcissist's narrative are of this type: “Most marks come from the upper strata of society, which, in America, means that they have made, married, or inherited money. Because of this, they acquire status which in time they come to attribute to some inherent superiority, especially as regards matters of sound judgment in finance and investment. Friends and associates, themselves social climbers and sycophants, help to maintain this illusion of superiority. Eventually, the mark comes to regard himself as a person of vision and even of genius.” ― David W. Maurer, The Big Con: The Story of the Confidence Man
The Pioppi diet encourages plenty of vegetables, nuts, legumes and fish, but discourages red meat? I suppose it could work because it eliminates sugar, wheat, and vegetable oil. Why not recommend a carnivore diet or at least a keto diet high in red meat and animal fat?
Cause then big Pharma and many doctors go out of business. This doctor in the vid is honest but he didn't cut to the deception fully yet. But give him three more years. I myself knew carnivore for two years but I was to stupid to get the full ramifications, also brainwashed fanatics* kept me back then from fully doing it. Now I know carnivore is the holy grale of health and I won't go back until I have real complications. * It's sad how ppl think they know the truth when in reality they just repeat big Pharma talking points. When they are just tricked fools. Cause the application of the scientific method takes effort. I myself was a stupid vegan believed the propaganda let myself impress by genetic outliers who are resistent against plant toxins. So years back then I even drawn a other person in which is now a bat shit crazy vegan. So Karma is a bitch I prepare material for him to slowly brief him out of this delusion. At least give it an attempt that's a kind responsibility for me cause I contributed to his delusion.
I now have 5 stents and a blood clot inside my heart chamber. There has been NO mention of diet in my recovery. I feel that the Drs. have no idea of what should be done, and are only interested in medication (statins etc) It is like they have a huge hole where holistic medicine and diet should be. Medicine has been hijacked by corporate need for profit above all...
Just watching people like this on UA-cam means you very likely to be making good choices in your recovery, and your comment about lack of diet from healthcare providers is my experience too. A bit of advice from a biochemist: Drink 250ml of Beetroot Juice every day (in the UK there is a brand called “Beet It” which is ideal) - nitrate in it causes vasodilation and promotes blood flow. Add potassium electrolyte to water, many people are depleted in potassium Have a drink of water with lemon juice and before bed have the same with a table spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar Walk 10,000 steps a day without fail if fitness and pain allow, and as fitness improves, try to build 30 mins of vigorous exercise a day in. Adopt a 16:8 intermittent fasting pattern with no snacking, move slowly to this if difficult by having your breakfast later and later till it becomes part of lunch Remove polyunsaturated fats from your diet - they are inflammatory and are oxidised causing significant problems. Never eat margarine, use butter, if uncomfortable cooking with butter, use a light olive oil. Eat a diet which is when you look at a plate 60% low starch veg or salad, 20% fat, 20% protein, if you must have carbohydrates make these infrequent and small Eat a couple of eggs a day - nutrient dense and good protein and fat Unless your doctor has a very good reason, stop taking medication. Look at each one and do research, interrogate your GP about benefits, and make an informed decision on each Many people are on BP medication, Statins, and Metformin. This is a nasty cocktail of meds with overlapping side effects, if you don’t need them work with your GP to stop them. When the GP does a cholesterol test and talks about statins ask a few questions - 1. Do I have atherosclerosis? If no then say no to statins. 2. What is the role of Cholesterol in heart disease and stroke? A GP will probably waffle and talk about clogging of arteries. The right answer is - Cholesterol is part of the healing process of atherosclerosis, but if the cause of the atherosclerosis (oxidative damage) is not removed the atherosclerosis will grow and constrict the blood flow, cholesterol is essential in repairing the oxidative damage to arteries. If your GP doesn’t know this I would disregard their advice. 3. Would you need to test me for atherosclerosis and do a CAC scan or Calcium score, before making a statin prescribing decision? A decent GP would agree with that. Hope you feel better and make a full recovery. The human body is an amazing system of processes and recovery is possible if we give our body a chance.

I was fortunate enough to have access to the data for of the trials of one of the major c19 vaccines months before the public even thought they may be used. It was clear that they were not only dangerous but ineffective. They used accountant's slight of hand to suggest that it had 95% efficacy. My job is interpreting data, and using the correct method, I calculated thar they only reduced the chances of being hospitalised by 0.8%. 2 years on, this is showing to be spot on. And guess who did the initial "trials"? Yes that's right. The companies who are selling it. I can't believe people risked their lives and health just to increase the profits of corporations.
You lie. People were dropping like flies before the vaccine was introduced. My doctor wife lost over 20 colleagues before the vax and zero after it was introduced to the medics. It worked so well that we no longer have a pandemic. You’re not only outright lying but your comments can really hurt people.
This is why one should know their Dr and the Dr knows you! Now days you book an appointment and you get someone different each time! No, I always ask for the Dr I want when I book,
I ended up having to turn off because it was making me angry. And also I can't figure out the conversions from Europe cholesterol numbers to USA. But I no longer will allow my doctor to test my cholesterol. I only will get the tests myself and I only get triglycerides. I also would not that every blood test can have drastically different results based on many different factors so you just can't have ONE test and assume you have a massive problem.
Again I claim that DECENTRALISATION is the only way out of this mess. Central power / authority will always provide an access point for greedy big business in all areas where power can grow and money too. Public funding won’t help . Look at weapon industry . Tax is just a way to transfer money from public to said big business by influencing the public so called servants. Greed will never go away but the effects can be stifled somewhat this way.
It's the same with financial investment. Both medicine and investment are now based on "narratives," not on results. Apparently some people believe that real world results are not significant. Carbohydrates and even grains are ok in moderation. What the issue for the health of billions of people, is a diet that has becomes addicted to grains. Ultimately all carbohydrates except for dietary fibre become sugar, so breads, pastas and starches should be eaten in moderation. Personally I would see a carbohydrate portion like pasta or potato as a perhaps weekly treat, rather than a meal staple. The issue is compounded by “official” dietary advice from cardiovascular and diabetes charities which don’t in any way acknowledge the role of too much carbohydrate. In the UK the official diabetes diet plan for an actual diabetic lists Lasagne as a meal choice! The work of Ancel Keys has been shown to be completely wrong for over 20 years now, yet most official dietary advice is still referencing that study on saturated fat! Sadly too many business interests in a high carbohydrate diet, and as nearly all research is industry sponsored now, its no surprise there is no credible research being done.

When I had my first job as medical rep in 1997, I was at a meeting with around 3 dozen GPs. The vast majority then would not prescribe statins.. Not a lot seems to have changed .
When trust in Medicine and Science is shattered, how do you get it back. Doctors should take their beloved Pharmaceutical Industry to court and destroy them once and for all time. “Let natural foods be your medicine”, oh that’s right, they destroyed food industry also.
Bit of an over simplification. ‘Big Pharma’ produces the medication that controls my husbands Parkinson’s disease tremors. I had a tetanus injection the other day too……
At last, the fallacy of evidence based medicine exposed. Medicine is science and doctors must be scientists. Guidelines are helpful, but not mandatory protocols. Your right. Protocols drive profit. Expensive treatments take preference over diagnosis or patient care. We need more Hippocrates and collegial behaviors, empowering county medical societies, traditional medical schools, autopsy and bedside teaching. Word of mouth in the surgeon’s❤ lounge with a near infinite N number drives a meaningful statistic.
I wish people wouldn't invent new Named Diets. Pioppi Diet, Keto Diet, Atkins Diet. This only promotes "comparing", making it a thing of preference instead of a wake-up call. We need a proper "General Human Diet You All Must Adhere To Unless You Want To Be A Moron Destroying The World And Should Be Locked Up Because You Suck So Much And Have No Functioning Brain". Other than that, great video :) Imagine we didn't produce and ship all that junk food and food products around. All the packaging. All the resources and labor are wasted. All the sick people resulting from bad dietary choices. We could concentrate on essential, high-quality foodstuffs. No more worrying about organic or healthy or whatever, because it will be the best we can do at the time. But it won't happen. Even otherwise intelligent people will state that "It's not a diet for me, I need my ...". Because People suck, they are all addicts, and they are proud of it too.

Great talk! I would have liked a mention about the fact that the weight loss is due to a reduction in overall calories, not just a reduction in carbs. I don't think most people are aware of that basic fact, and it would have been a nice place to mention it.
The utter waste of time and simply VAST waste of money that is the indoctrination of ‘annual appraisal’. For the one, most important thing that appraisal fails to assess is ‘experience’ And don’t get me started on ‘target driven medicine’🙄
I have always thought that most medical research was falsified to create the outcome that the researchers want. This is to do with pressure from the pharmaceutical industry, the need for positive results to get publication in a major journal, to gain finance for further research and the greed of doctors looking to maximise their salaries and pensions by being given a merit award, or equivalent.
The way I understand it. If you test ur fasting Insulin every year, if this value keeps creeping up- thats the warning signs.. And then you can detect insulin resistance 10 years before you test it with a glucose test.
Free information and an idea. Why dont Gov, force all related data to testing and findings for a drug or anything for that matter, to a panel for review before allowing to market, this panel would then do their own test to confirm or deny the claims then release to market if not detriment to humans.

I left 20 year career as an anesthesiologist to practice real medicine directed to helping people be(come) healthy. In addition to diet and activity/lifestyle, I find that a lot of what I am doing is helping people de-supplement as well as de-prescribe. One fault that I have with a lot of functional and narural based medical practice is the perpetual addition of supplements and phytochemicals, essentially approaching health from the same perspective as allopathic physicians but using "natural pharmaceuticals" in place of synthetic chemicals.

maybe he will after he meets Dr Baker this week

Anecdotal evidence favoring low carb/meat grows and grows. Did you eat junk food before going keto?
It's easy to argue with the results, you could have had the same effects with any caloric restriction diet and probably had a better influence on the actual diabetes itself now by dropping the saturated fats.
@@cyberfunk3793anyone believing that saturated fats cause diabetes doesn't understand the disease. It is a carb issue not saturated fats issue. Read Dr Ben Bikman book "Why We Get Sick". You might learn something.

Well done. However, your benefits came from losing weight. Keto is unnecessary and potentially harmful.
You are a scientist or an engineer, right? 😉
"When I got my results I told her that I hoped in the future she would suggest diet before drugs" - Fantastic! How did she answer that?
Ketogenic diets can even reverse type 2 diabetes, intermittent fasting helps too, it especially helps to heal a fatty liver(caused by too much sugar, or alcohol).

Censoring means one is afraid of what you are going to say and very likely has a conflict of interest if the information gets out into the public and they change their minds.
Allowing open debate means one believes their position is legitimately better or right or at least they support having the public choose the best idea or concept.

Kind of like them getting $3,000 per covid patient that they treat but if they prescribed hydrochloricine or ivermectin they went and get that $3,000.

I have a cousin who is on statin and has been for years, her cholesterol was probably 'normal' . She has constant leg pain and recently had a heart attack and three stents put in. So they worked there didn't they? Also had very high blood pressure.
"normal" in itself isn't "optimal"
the optimal level where close to zero case of heart diseases are reported is at 57 LDL.
"normal" in this context is like "it's normal for an American to be overweight"
population in rural Vietnam, Japan and China has ldl fewer 70z-100 points compared to their city's counterparts and westerners.
What I've noticed is that those who most eager to accept the malignant narcissist's narrative are of this type:
“Most marks come from the upper strata of society, which, in America, means that they have made, married, or inherited money. Because of this, they acquire status which in time they come to attribute to some inherent superiority, especially as regards matters of sound judgment in finance and investment. Friends and associates, themselves social climbers and sycophants, help to maintain this illusion of superiority. Eventually, the mark comes to regard himself as a person of vision and even of genius.”

Just watching people like this on UA-cam means you very likely to be making good choices in your recovery, and your comment about lack of diet from healthcare providers is my experience too.
A bit of advice from a biochemist:
Drink 250ml of Beetroot Juice every day (in the UK there is a brand called “Beet It” which is ideal) - nitrate in it causes vasodilation and promotes blood flow.
Add potassium electrolyte to water, many people are depleted in potassium
Have a drink of water with lemon juice and before bed have the same with a table spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
Walk 10,000 steps a day without fail if fitness and pain allow, and as fitness improves, try to build 30 mins of vigorous exercise a day in.
Adopt a 16:8 intermittent fasting pattern with no snacking, move slowly to this if difficult by having your breakfast later and later till it becomes part of lunch
Remove polyunsaturated fats from your diet - they are inflammatory and are oxidised causing significant problems. Never eat margarine, use butter, if uncomfortable cooking with butter, use a light olive oil.
Eat a diet which is when you look at a plate 60% low starch veg or salad, 20% fat, 20% protein, if you must have carbohydrates make these infrequent and small
Eat a couple of eggs a day - nutrient dense and good protein and fat
Unless your doctor has a very good reason, stop taking medication. Look at each one and do research, interrogate your GP about benefits, and make an informed decision on each
Many people are on BP medication, Statins, and Metformin.

If you don't have a metabolic problem then carbs in moderation is fine.

Dr. Peter Langsjoen, cardiologist in Tyler, TX. Has also warned about statins. He is considered to be the authority on Coq10.
The drugs which work are outlawed, everything else is heavily promoted.
If we want to put an end to new drugs, which have questionable or no benefit or are dangerous or even deadly, we need to hold responsible the Private Labs that conduct the Clinical Trials for the pharmaceutical companies.
Congress needs to pass such a Law.

Loved your talk with Dr. John Campbell!
I agree, silence is what brings countries to corruption!
Why do they always cite mortality rates? Yes, dying is bad but so is having a heart attack that you survive. Why not show rates of mortality and heart disease "events"?
Doctor.... In this video, I found you spoke extremely quickly. I had to stop the video and listen back a few times. Can you slow it down next time? Thank you for your knowledge though.
This is one video that I think everyone should listen to and heed his advice. I’ve had my own problems with statins and am unable to get the help I need because I can’t tolerate them. I have a 90% occlusion which K--- will not fix because statins make me very ill. Figure that out!
When I had my first job as medical rep in 1997, I was at a meeting with around 3 dozen GPs. The vast majority then would not prescribe statins.. Not a lot seems to have changed .

Very useful info, thanks.
I had a tetanus injection the other day too……
14:59 the difference between absolute and relative risk reduction.
Absolutely brilliant evaluation. I applaud your honesty and sincerity. Bravo re your courage.
slow it down to 0.75 speed
Think of this when being invited for your next 'booster' shot.
Be very careful of Simon Chapman. He's one of those stubborn people who will not allow anyone to prove him wrong. Such people are dangerous.
Other than that, great video :)
Imagine we didn't produce and ship all that junk food and food products around.
Did I miss something? I was waiting for him to talk about Tony again. 🤪
Why is this channel showing someone who recommends low consumption of red meat?
Can people with familial hypercholesterolemia eat saturated fat, eggs meat etc, while cutting out sugar and carbs, all the information I can find on this does not include familial hypercholesterolemia in the discussion
We know better now about cholesterol, didn’t have to wait for five years on that. It’s good In itself but can be a sign of a problem if too high.
The amount of people in media and influential positions who don't care about accuracy is appalling.
Great talk!
I would have liked a mention about the fact that the weight loss is due to a reduction in overall calories, not just a reduction in carbs.
I don't think most people are aware of that basic fact, and it would have been a nice place to mention it.
That’s because it is not just due to a reduction in calories.
Not all calories are the same.
A kilo of meat and a kilo of sugar don't have the same effect on the body.
The utter waste of time and simply VAST waste of money that is the indoctrination of ‘annual appraisal’.
For the one, most important thing that appraisal fails to assess is ‘experience’
And don’t get me started on ‘target driven medicine’🙄
the fact that stantins are still in use tell me how useless the average doctor is.
What is insulin resistance? Is there a test for it?
Yes, have your your fasting insulin tested .
Kraft Test?
The way I understand it. If you test ur fasting Insulin every year, if this value keeps creeping up- thats the warning signs.. And then you can detect insulin resistance 10 years before you test it with a glucose test.
Free information and an idea.
Why dont Gov, force all related data to testing and findings for a drug or anything for that matter, to a panel for review before allowing to market, this panel would then do their own test to confirm or deny the claims then release to market if not detriment to humans.
wow! thanks for the info
