Me and my brother got this game for our dad 2 months ago and have no regrets paying 80 dollars for it! It somehow rings nostalgic for my childhood and I love it! When it’s night and we want to play it me and my brother turn off all the light so all you see is the blue flames and cutscenes! Btw fav character is kurthnaga :) he is so pure and I’m hoping he will be in heroes soon!

Instead of shutting the game off like normal, I just let the intro play while I sort of decompressed. Suddenly I realized that something new was happening and I look up and there is Ike! I was such a fan of Path of Radiance that having those three added sections to this intro to feature those characters just made me infinitely more excited and after watching it a couple times I just had to keep going!

Gameplaywise it was a good system (prefer it over GBA and 9). It was the first support system at the time you could cancel it at any time without sacrificing an unit. Though it's better in 13 so much I hate it to say.

THIS game. I love their take on gods, because before DnD became mainstream, most games and fantasy shows always equated lawful with good and chaotic with evil. To young me it was totally mind-blowing that the goddess of order, that all the humans on the continent pray to, almost became their demise and the goddess of chaos that all the humans hated became their ally. Choas isn't inherently bad and law is not inherently good. In many fantasy stories it's often very black and white. Being able to play on pretty much all fronts and seeing that the consequences of Path of Radiance weren't great for everyone, was really refreshing to see. Usually it's "the mad king is dead, everyone is happy" but seeing that the people of Daein were suffering under being pretty much conquered by Begnion, made it feel pretty realistic. I hope the Tellius Saga will get a remake, I would LOVE that. I was so sad that the laguz were pretty much Tellius specific and not a thing anymore in the newer games. Awakening had 1 laguz-like race (taguel?) that was literally completely wiped out (safe for one) and not even relevant for the story. Fates had the Kitsune and the Wolf people but... well fit was fates aka the worst fire emblem
It's because of the significance of the fight This was tecnically the last huge personal challenge Ike had to overcome. His dad's murderer, his rival. Both men trained under one of the most powerful human in all Tellius.
Best part is 2:39 and on for me. My favorite game ever. Love the music and character artwork. Played it over ten years ago and still revisit it from time to time

Only ever played FE9 and 10. Absolutely fell in love with the story and fighting style of the game. And I'm oddly not that much into anime. But this intro gives chills to this very day. So beautiful.
After watching this after all these years reminds me why the Tellius games will always be the best Fire Emblem games. Legit wish they would go back to making games of this caliber. Story line, music, art style. Three Houses can never compare. Let’s see FE4 through FE8 get remakes like this please IS

I'm not going to tell you how that works, but if you pay really close attention, you'll figure it out. (Those who do find out or already know, try not to spoil anything for those who haven't played).

I wish I had gotten this game since it is one of my favourites. I eventually borrowed it from my cousin and beat it though. And I am now playing through Path of Radiance which I am also borrowing since I never got a GameCube (only recently got a memory card).
Came back to watch this video again. I eventually did pick this game up for a fairly cheap price from Japan and a decent price in English too. PoR is of course expensive in English too, but I got a Japanese Wii and PoR for less than $90 CAD a few years back. I would love to see the Radiant games re-released sometime or remade too, would certainly be a great addition to the Switch library.

The Tellius games should have gotten the Skyrim treatment. Nintendo could have easily milked us for our money with “new edition” path of radiance and radiant dawns for years.
