If you wipe your ass with steel wool, eventually the lacerations and other damages caused to the rectum will be fatal. So, please make sure you use approved bath tissue instead and have regular checkups with your doctors.
Reminds me of when I was a kid, grew up on a dead end street with like 10 kids around my age, would play with them everyday, tag, baseball in the field near our street, video games in the garage at night. I'd be out from 10am to 10pm. I hope everyone is doing well.
I feel you man...rather than being a motivational song like it seems for most, this just puts my head into a endless spiral of flashbacks from my teenage years. From 13, playing baseball til the sun went down to 18, enlisted in the military. And everything in between.
+Dr. DietLemonT In Ireland we spent our time playing tag, Forty Forty , and kerbsy. Go look those up if you don't know them, such awesome games :D. I think everyone knows kerbsy/kerbsies, but Forty Forty is the best game, seriously :D
same exact scenario for me man. I'm very fortunate for my childhood. Sports, video games, ghost in the graveyard..the good ol' days........and now im sad lol
whenever i listen to explosions in the sky it reminds me of friday night lights. i always listen to it when im going for a run or an hour before a workout and just think about football & highschool & life. idk really how to explain how it makes me feel, but whenever im alone i always listen to explosions in the sky and it just feels like a soundtrack for my life i guess.
I'm so glad that so many other people feel the same way i feel when they listen to explosions in the sky. When i listen to them, i get a feeling of taking my life a bit slower, and enjoying what i have. Simultaneously, i get the feeling i want to live somewhere else where some of my dreams are possible and not upheld. Just an amazing song, and an amazing band
I often find myself humming or whistling this tune whenever I seem to be sub-consciously trying to motivate myself. Once I realise I'm doing it, it's all the motivation I need to get moving
For me, as a skateboarder, the whole world is my home. Every skater ive met we've had an instant connection and then comes the warm welcome feeling of being home. Being around skateboarding has made me leave what my mom thinks is my home, and go travel, explore, live. Experience life for what it is. And to me skating is an art, along with painting drawing music and so much more. THis song reminds me of all the days i would go out and just skate alone down hills and streets, just living.
this music is so inspiring. its great for driving, great to listen to when your in a downer mood or when your just feeling chill. this band creates the most amazing music and i am so glad i discovered them. love love love this band and song
Guess everyone else is sharing theirs, I'm late to the party but here we go. My parents divorced, mum left with my brother and sister and I stayed alone with my dad. He was suicidal. We had nothing in the house, I slept on a mattress on the floor with a ps3 and tv and this song was on repeat for the majority of it and it got me through a really dark time. I come back every now and again to this, and I will always love and appreciate it
You're not late. I'm going through a hard time too but your story inspires me that hard times do pass too. How's your dad now and how did you got through it?
@@leoceanburst3328 thank you for asking 😊 he's in a much better place now, stable and secure in a new home of his own. We stuck together, took the good with the bad, and the bad with the good

October 2018 Well, it's me again. Back at it in August of 2021. The tune was humming in my mind and later on I realized that I was actually thinking about this masterpiece.
Amazing song. This song reminds me of that inspirational video about success and always hypnotises me into trying as hard as possible. Plus it sound freaken awesome on guitar!!
This song gives you that comforting feeling that make you wanna do something in a way, but then at the same time stand back and look at life and realize.....
I don't know why I can't stop listening to this song, when all it does is remind me of how much I miss playing high school football in Texas. I would give almost anything to get to go back and relive those years.
Im a U.S. Marine, stationed in parris Island right now, im back at base with my guys who i guess i can call brothers now, but not like the one that i used to live with. on christmas this year i went to my old neighborhood with all my friends who are goin to the same college (im only 19)and we had the time of our lives too. this song reminds me slowly walkin down the street i used to live on, staring at my best friends houses and how things have changed. i love this song. Semper Fi.
for me, whenever I listen to this track, it reminds me of Varanasi. I had my special moments there, and I know that it's home, even though I'm not an Indian or their citizen. Still, I'm proud to say, I've found home in India.
@FullMetalSatomi I feel you man, i´d become deaf for those artists. Although i like good hiphop. Just the other day, i had a gig in another city in the Netherlands (that´s where i live) and it was a long way from my home. Just before my city (Nijmegen), there is a bridge across a river. I crossed that river with the train just when i heard Explosions in the Sky with ´Home´. At that moment I was just so touched. I was happy and relieved to be home again. It´s amazing what music can give to you.
every day at 5:45 PM i listen this song, no matter what, no matter where, no matter how. i listen to it, kinda, cheers me up in a weird way. i just wanna thank the band who made this. R.I.P...
This song actually does remind me of my home. Not just my home, but my home at a certain time of the day. At dusk. When everything has quieted to the quiet hush of the trees rustling their leaves in the wind.
This doesny remind me of home. Reminds me of my holiday in florida. Where due to jet lag id sit out on the hotel balcony gazing at the sun rising over the turquoise water. Ive had a lot of stressful things happen. This song brings total inner peace
This is such a simple tone of music, but yet its very powerful. This music was used perfectly in Friday Night Lights. And I think that with anything this music was put to, would make that moment even more special.
When i used to play basketball, somehow i found the videos where NBA players like Kobe, Garnett, Wade and Lebron doing thier workout, and that song was on that video... amazing feeling🙂
Exactly what happened to me! I lived in Springfield, Missouri all my life until I was 14, then I moved away to Tulsa, Oklahoma and I am 16 now, I miss it so much :(

it's so hard to move when you've left your heart and soul in the place you've always loved with the people tyou can never forget. It's sad to know that when I go to college I will never see their faces again. Being from Texas, and having spent a lot of time in its wide open expanses, this is the single most beautiful song I've ever heard.
Texas Forever
Music like this enables me to think that I'm capable of doing anything, well as humans we already are capable of that, but this is just beautiful.
Same friend same
This is like a blank canvas in sound. My thoughts, emotions, and experiences are what make these instrumentals an awe inspiring song.
I never imagined that such a calm song could make me feel so motivated to do work.

It's raining here right now, and the low rumbling of the thunder fits perfectly with this song. Such a good band. :) Thanks for posting.
