I had really bad PMS to the point that I was depressed for 2 weeks every month and had to be on anti depressants during those 2 weeks. Last summer I decided to stop with my contraceptives and since then I haven’t had a pms issue! I highly recommend anyone with PMS or PMDS to look into this because as soon as I stopped after years and years of taking them I felt so much calmer and happier! 💕💕💕 hope this will help more women 🥰
Jamie Genevieve 😂😂 sooo relatable I spend my life trying to make 1 trip to save time, then spend more time than the 2 trips would have taken cleaning up the mess that the failed 1 trip attempt causes 😂🙈
I get migraines and anxiety few days before my period too. Getting outside in fresh air first thing even though you want to stay in bed helps me! It’s interesting to see everyone’s remedies 😊 It’s the worst.
I just love your voice and your accent. I'm not a native speaker in English, but I think that you are quite easy to understand and you don't sound as artificial as others.
I’m so obsessed with these vlogs!! To anyone else reading this, I hope you’re having an amazing weekend?? Stay safe whilst seeing your family and friends!! Remember to keep smiling, lots of love a small time UA-camr❤️❤️
Even thou we're out of lockdown in the UK I'm still so wary of going out and about. As there are so many idiots about. And it has made me very anxious. I'm supposed to be looking for work as well but the thought of it worries me so much. Your new hair looks amazing BTW. And my fingers are crossed for the house. Xx
Catching up on your vlogs. I love them so much. I used to have terrible periods and I got my hormones tested. I’m a holistic health coach in training and there is a ton of stuff you can implement to help with PMS. I know society says women are just supposed to suffer, but periods are actually not supposed to cause any symptoms at all. I also used to deal with the puffiness around my face that you talk about in other videos. Gua sha and lymphatic massage helps with that. Lymph work also healed my cystic acne. 🤍
My mom has always taken evening primrose for pms along with st. John's wart. I find that drinking extra water along with a very warm bath for 20-30mins and either a warm blanket or a weighted blanket for 20 mins seems to help either first thing in the morning or in the evening after work
Raspberry Leaf Tea is the BEST for PMS! It’s mostly for cramps/bloating - but I used to have debilitating cramps and back pain, and now I don’t have any. I can’t recommend enough! I got the loose leaf stuff, then drank 1 quart per day, for 30-90 days - no period pain ever again!
I was just consumed by awful stories in the news when I got the notification for this video and I just have to say thank youuuu for being a nice distraction from the world for me 💗
Caught up on the vlogs after having a really anxious day and it’s honestly made me feel so much better! Been here for 5/6 years now and i still love your channel as much today as i did from the very first lush haul!! Xx
Honestly I find that going for a run or just generally doing some exercise does me the world of good whenever I’m feeling rubbish, be that PMS or just generally if I’ve had a bad day. It’s hard to get out the door but once it’s done, I always feel amazing
I take evening primrose. You can get it at your local supermarket or at the pharmacy. It's not too expensive, but I find that it does help. Doesn't get rid of all the symptoms of PMS but helps with my mood
Hahaha the radiator bit 😂 For future reference, those metal bars that are screwed into the wall..? Well the radiator lifts off of those... if you lift the radiator up, it will unhook 😘 Makes painting behind much easier too xxxxxx
PMS - there’s been studies done in regards to women’s mensural cycle throughout lockdown showing it has effected their cycle in flow or emotions / pms. I’d keep an eye on it until lockdown is over and see if it improves or not :)
PMS wise try and switch to decaff a few days before and see if it helps as caffeine increases your cortisol levels (which is a stress hormone). I used to drink so much coffee every day, weird but switching to decaff definitely got rid of this intense anxious feeling I used to get! x
I came upon one of your makeup videos the other day, which was amazing & insightful, helpful. I really enjoyed you as a person even though I’m older than you and I live in America. I think you are lovely & enjoy watching about your life. For the pms, Bach flower essences (Rescue Remedy) is helpful for emotional support. Best wishes.
Omg watching you trying to get your laptop has had me in hysterics this morning. I always start my Monday mornings watching your vlog, its a fantastic start to the week 🤣🤣
Random crying is my indicator that I'm about to start my period as well 😅IF you guys get this house I CANNOT wait for all the house related videos, how you decorate and the renovations!
My mum told me to try primrose evening oil! She said you can get them in capsules and they really help boost your mood - I have anxiety and depression and with I start my period it gets 100000times worse. I think it’s one of those things tho that works for some people and not others but defo worth trying it ! I know Ohne also sell CBD oil specifically for period symptoms
Omygoshhhhhhh you’re freakin awesome!! Like seriously in my top faves. I have binged on your videos for hours and I haven’t flipped or been bored. Totally entertaining and super cool gal! Justtttt wanted to tell ya!! Xo!
For the anxiety part of the pms I know someone who uses lavender extract and swears by it to help her calm anxiety! I keep meaning to try it but she said it changed her life! You can get little capsules of it!
Can’t wait to hear news about the house 🤩 was wondering if you’ll be doing any videos with the pur x rawbeautykristi collab? Would love to see your take on it 😍
Evening primrose oil has really helped me! I didnt think it was working to start with but stopped taking them for 3 weeks and noticed a massive difference so have started taking them again! 5-HTP also really helps me with irritability. Definitely makes me more rational!
Been waiting for this all week. Jamie your blogs seriously make me so happy. You are my favorite UA-camr so kind and down to earth. Love the new hair. Have a great week!
My pms symptoms changed completely when I turned 30. My doctor has me take my birth control for 3 months straight to help with the migraines and it made my anxiety AWFUL. So now I’m on medication for anxiety and it helps loads
Oil of evening primrose is really really good for PMS. I take one every day and i found such a difference with my skin, mood etc. Also a lot of supermarkets do own versions of it like Alidi or Lidl and I'm pretty sure Tesco does too xx
I used to work at fenwick and we sold mugs very similar to your mug with different breeds if anyone needs to know!! Xx so happy for you and your house journeys all the best and lots of love 🥰🥰🥰
Haha this vlog this week was great! Also I have horrible PMS, my anxiety gets so bad it’s horrible. For me I alway drink lavender tea, do some meditating and then do something that keeps me busy and makes me feel good like cleaning or something that provides that instant gratification.
I don't have any pms remedies but on a similar note I highly recommend Modi Bodi period underwear! It really makes me feel more relaxed about my period as I don't have to worry about changing tampons/pads. They are super comfortable and make you feel like your period is just a normal week. :)
For future reference there is give with those radiators. Lift it up and off the brackets to get whatever is stuck behind it. My 3 year old loves to post building blocks behind my radiators and it’s a daily thing in my house. 🤬🤦♀️
I’m sending all the positive vibes and wishes you and jacks way for the 🏠! I’m soo with you on the pms. I have theeee worst cramps and I feel before my period I’ve went into a complete psycho/depression/ anxiety for like 2 days. It’s so weird! I welcome any remedies! Also what has helped me is music and dancing about the house while cleaning! Hope all is well! Can’t wait to see what the shoot is about next week!! 🎉💕🦄❤️ xx
Just found your channel from Amy's recommendations video! Sorry to hear you are ill. I just did a vlog myself and you can watch me getting progressively more and more sick while overdosing on lemsip and Ben & Jerry's ice cream! Haha. Juno is SO gorgeous. Haha I had botox done once and didn't notice any difference and it was with the best botox guy in South Africa! Was so disappointing. I'm in the UK now so maybe one day I'll try again.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you about the house! I cant wait until I have my own house one day! apartments are great but I would love a house because I want a pupperino!
Jamie I take Evening Primrose oil tablets every day to help with my pms and I know they work because I definitely notice if I’ve forgotten to take them lol!
Try Star flower oil. I am vegan and they are natural product like you said, I buy them from Holland & Barrett. They even out your mood so you don’t feel so up and down x
Would love to see a luxury items collection, you have some beautiful items that always make all your outfits look so stylish, with a mixture of high street and luxury 🖤
Awwwww Jamie, I've a tattoo on my arm saying ' everything happens for a reason ' so... make this your motto when you get the news on Tuesday. Xxx oh love Juno when she talks back to Jack lol xx
Jamie & Jack Ill be rooting for you guys that you get the house with the beautiful garden. That sounds like such a Scottish dream!!! 🌿💜 best of luck!!! 🤞🏼
I was really bad the older i got , to the point I actually thought my life was over , paronia , mad depression and sleep soooo much . I got put on anti depressants / citrolioplan and my last two cycles have been a breeze . 🙏 my doc said serotonin can reduce dramatically due to chemical imbalances , put off going for couple year but was just getting worse probably had 2 weeks 3 if I was lucky out of a month where I felt okay 👌 it was so bad
For PMS I have found Grounding Oil. It’s seems to work for me and also Bach remedies. Wee batch of cherry plum and beech mixed - droplets under the tongue 🙏🏼 💆🏼♀️
I love that jack didn’t really question why the laptop was behind the radiator 😂😂😂 why do I feel like Jamie had been there for about an hour before shouting Jack 😂🙈😂 Sending positive vibes for the house too! Hope you guys get it and can’t wait to see it when you do! ❤️😘 x P.S lockdown PMS is real!! 🙈 xx
The US needs to take a page from Scotland. It's terrible, honestly. So scary. Also, evening primrose oil helped me so much with my PMDD. Highly recommend.
My dog does that too hahaha! I used to sit there forever trying to get her to put on her harness. A trainer finally told me to put a treat in the center of the harness/collar and the dog will put their right in to grab the treat. It was magic!!! It works EVERYTIME! I hope this makes sense 🥰
Laptop rescue was amazing aha! Goodluck on your house Jamie - will be thinking of you until Tuesday and will keep my fingers crossed!!! Good vibes your way love!
Try oil of evening primrose it works for that and can be great for skin mine was really soft after I used the capsules years ago. I really hope you get your house look forward to home content if you get it👌👌👌
Vitamin b6 is great for pms and hormone imbalance. I use to take it when I had horrible periods as a teenager and took it through out by pregnancy too. Never had any mood swings or anything
Love the hair love the Botox. The laptop. WTH?? But mostly best f luck with the house. I’ve been in that position twice now, with my husband, and it is nerve racking. Stay positive and pray. It will all work out...exactly the way it’s supposed to! Positive vibes coming your way from Florida! 🏡
It’s so interesting hearing about your experience buying a house vs here in the states. Me and my husband just got our home and it was for sale less than 12 hours when they accepted our offer and it went off the market!
I think this can be quite different depending on the area within the U.S. as well. A few years ago my parents sold the house I grew up in and moved from Texas to Oregon. I was struck by how in the suburban area where I grew up, my parents were encouraged to do a ton of things to the house to fix it up and stage it, whereas I went with them to look at a few houses in Oregon (in a small, coastal town) and people had done none of that. Also finding a new house was a looong process for them, and they wound up buying land and building. My bf and I have recently started talking about buying a house (in Eugene, OR) and I'm trying to figure out what to expect here and also realizing my bf and I have different expectations of how long the process will take.
I get bad PMS too. Occasionally menstrual migranes. Normally I just take 2 paracetamol and 1 or 2 ibuprofen and go to bed for 90 minutes or whatever (there’d be no way I could continue what I’m doing). Apparently you can get oxytocin patches. I also get anxious/verging on crazy/paranoid prior to my period but because I associate with my period I just attribute it to that and try to get through those few days etc
We’re in a similar boat with a house right now. Made an offer on it earlier this week but haven’t heard back yet 😬😬 but we’ve still been constantly thinking and talking about what we’d do to each room and how to make it our home! We love it so much and I’ve been feeling so on edge waiting to hear back about our offer!!
I used to suffer from horrible period pains... the only thing that worked for me fully was going on the pill. But i definitely found taking magnesium supplements helped, using hot water bottles and also trying to eat better. I would always get axious to, but more becsuse id be scared to be in pain, but rescue remedy helps a lot with that. Hope thats somewhat helpful xxx
My PMS is similar now I’m 26! I currently don’t take any herbal recipes to alleviate my PMS emotions, however if you do be sure to check they don’t interfere with anything else you take. I almost started one until I read it interferes with my contraception...an unexpected pregnancy is the last thing that’d alleviate my anxiety. 😅 Only just catching up today, hope you’ve had a positive call re:house. X
Life is just overwhelming at the moment Jamie. I’ve felt the exact same due to a mixture of things. Hopefully the house decision will make you feel more at ease. Keep being you girl! Sending love from Bathgate 💗
I used to get horrible PMS. But now I just take birth control continuously, so I don't have periods or PMS symptoms. Only thing that worked for me. Good luck!
I suffer from PMDD, get such anxiety and low moods a week before my period. It's gradually got worse over the last couple of years. Magnesium is supposed to help
Juno is such a diva. Please give her whatever she wants.

Jamie coming out of lockdown: looks amazing and well rested
Me: I dyed my hair black and gave up slimming world
“Jack I’ve dropped my laptop behind the radiator “
Jack “whit!?” - most Scottish answer ever 😂😂
I just love how present Jack is.
How the frick did your laptop end up behind the radiator?😂😂😂 actually made my day watching youse get it out
😂😂😂😂 WELL it was balanced on top of boxes and slipped off and directly behind the radiator. Not my finest moment but I’ll never be a ‘2 trips’ girl 😂
@@jamiegenevieve Seriously, not the answer I was expecting, but also so perfect. THIS is why we love you so much! 😂
Jamie Genevieve 😂😂 sooo relatable I spend my life trying to make 1 trip to save time, then spend more time than the 2 trips would have taken cleaning up the mess that the failed 1 trip attempt causes 😂🙈

Jamie: Laptop rescue drama
The rest of the beauty community: Jeffree/Shane/Tati drama
😂😂 love u Jamie
Anabel Stegmaier... and that’s what we’re here for 😂👏🏻❤️ ain’t nobody got time for real drama when Jamie’s got her laptop stuck behind the rad! 😂🙈
I think it’s actually GOOD to visualize what you want. Visualize it, believe it to be true, trust the universe ❤️
I just love your voice and your accent. I'm not a native speaker in English, but I think that you are quite easy to understand and you don't sound as artificial as others.

Me scrolling through the comments to find a cure for pms because I'm in the same boat lmao
Ditto
Me too
You should look into the supplement DIM. Worked wonders for my PMS, hormonal acne, anxiety.. 🥰
There's actually a really good book about how to handle your cycle each month. It's called Period Power by Maisie Hill. I highly recommend it 😊
Me too! 🤣

Said it before and I’ll say it again. Couple goals. Aspire to be half as happy as you two are
Random crying is my indicator that I'm about to start my period as well 😅IF you guys get this house I CANNOT wait for all the house related videos, how you decorate and the renovations!
Yes, my PMS has gotten worse in the last few years. I’m almost 36. Women’s hormones begin to change at 30; less estrogen, etc. It sucks, I feel ya.
I’m 32 and my PMS and periods are ENTIRELY different now than in my 20s. 😒
My mum told me to try primrose evening oil! Been waiting for this all week. Jamie your blogs seriously make me so happy. You are my favorite UA-camr so kind and down to earth. Love the new hair. Have a great week!
Ashwaganda, vitamin B and lots of green veg for PMS. Ashwaganda capsules I take tow everyday anyway. So good in general for my mood.
My pms symptoms changed completely when I turned 30. My doctor has me take my birth control for 3 months straight to help with the migraines and it made my anxiety AWFUL. So now I’m on medication for anxiety and it helps loads
Jamie, I’ve been taking artichoke extract to help balance estrogen levels. Imbalances between estrogen and progesterone can cause bad pms symptoms
Oil of evening primrose is really really good for PMS. I take one every day and i found such a difference with my skin, mood etc. Also a lot of supermarkets do own versions of it like Alidi or Lidl and I'm pretty sure Tesco does too xx
I’m so happy you uploaded. Today is now a beautiful Sunday ♥️
What a sassy girl Juno is hahahaha, it's amazing how all animals develop such different and specific characters and personalities

Thank you for the “lifting” trick! I’ve been placing contour/ bronzer/ blush too low, masking me look muddy. Your tips have helped tremendously!!!

Jack playing hide n seek with the dogs is ma favourite thing ever omg
I just saw a video on tiktok from a gynecologist who recommended magnesium for PMS! I've never tried it but thought it'd be worth a mention.
choco881 yes!!! Magnesium helps with any type of cramps
Agnus castus too - I tried it and it make wonders
Jamie I take Evening Primrose oil tablets every day to help with my pms and I know they work because I definitely notice if I’ve forgotten to take them lol!
Try Star flower oil. I am vegan and they are natural product like you said, I buy them from Holland & Barrett. They even out your mood so you don’t feel so up and down x
Would love to see a luxury items collection, you have some beautiful items that always make all your outfits look so stylish, with a mixture of high street and luxury 🖤
Next year in January I'll buy my first apartment and I'm beyond happy , I can imagine how excited you and Jack are !!
Awwwww Jamie, I've a tattoo on my arm saying ' everything happens for a reason ' so... make this your motto when you get the news on Tuesday. Xxx oh love Juno when she talks back to Jack lol xx
Your makeup at the end of the vlog looks so lovely. Good luck for Tuesday 🤞🏼😘
Reflexology is fab for balancing hormones as well as being a really lovely treatment x
Had a titanic moment then when u were shouting Jack 🤣
Jamie & Jack Ill be rooting for you guys that you get the house with the beautiful garden. That sounds like such a Scottish dream!!! 🌿💜 best of luck!!! 🤞🏼
Buying a house is so stressful! This was exactly how I felt through the whole process. We have been in our new house a few weeks now.
My PMS has been worse since lockdown too. But I think I'm just less distracted so I notice more. We need remedies!
Snow Peircer is great also another great vlog good luck on the new home fingers crossed xx
“I’ve dropped my laptop behind the radiator” ..... “wit?” 😂😂😂😂😂 the struggle bus to get it out has made my night
Whatever happens with the house is meant to be, but so excited for you guys taking this step 🥰
My anxiety has been miserable right before my period for about 6 months now! Totally feel you on my PMS randomly being so terrible lately.
For PMS I have found Grounding Oil. It’s seems to work for me and also Bach remedies. Wee batch of cherry plum and beech mixed - droplets under the tongue
🙏🏼 💆🏼♀️
I love that jack didn’t really question why the laptop was behind the radiator 😂😂😂 why do I feel like Jamie had been there for about an hour before shouting Jack 😂🙈😂
Sending positive vibes for the house too!
So does england - it’s five mins away from me (Carlisle area - north of England) and we’re having a local lockdown/outbreak in three pubs 😤😤😤
My dog does that too hahaha! I used to sit there forever trying to get her to put on her harness. A trainer finally told me to put a treat in the center of the harness/collar and the dog will put their right in to grab the treat. It was magic!!! It works EVERYTIME! I hope this makes sense 🥰
truly magical though 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I done this with my horse to get him over his hesitation with headcollars, it works!🙌😂
I think this is my favorite vlog, I must’ve watched it 30 times now. 🙂
Laptop rescue was amazing aha! Goodluck on your house Jamie - will be thinking of you until Tuesday and will keep my fingers crossed!!! Good vibes your way love!
And I would really enjoy for that to not happen anymore about PMS is honestly the biggest mood.

Valerian root helps. Like legit calms u down. Its quite stinking in the bottle but it helps!
Hi guys just had to say how funny your dog was coming to help!! x
We’re in a similar boat with a house right now.
