    Nice video Ron. Yes to more detailed videos on the LokProgrammer. the instructions that come with it I find quite vague. Some demonstarations would be very helpful

    I have 2 Atlas locos with the Digitrax decoders. Took me hours to get them to speed match. I also have 2 BLI locos with the Paragon3 decoders and they run perfectly together. I have 3 more locos to put decoders in and you may have convinced me to try those ESU Lok Sound decoders.

    Thanks Ron. I started with Digitrax decoders myself until TCS came along. They definitely offer the ease of programming. Now that ESU has more to offer to N scale, I do quite a bit sound installations in my Locomotives . Not to mention the custom lighting. They are a vast improvement over any other decoder I believe.

    Thanks for the video Ron. In my personal experience over the years I used to think that TCS had the best motor control. As I have purchased and installed the ESU units...Hands down ESU. I do have a ESU programmer and recently purchased their CabControl system. I know you are an MRC operator. See if one of the suppliers can send you one for a demo. I don't think you will be disappointed.

    Great job on the install and programming... As I always say, just like you, if you are going to have multiple ESU decoders, then definitely invest in the Lokprogrammer.

    My old Atlas GP-38-40’s run crappy even with NCE decoders. Want to get a new 39 With LokSound. Don’t have sound in Switchers. Just Road Engines.
    Having to Consist a GP-38 High Hood, GP-40 and an MT SW1200 together because they all run rough. None are broken in much, so that helps push or pull the laggards along.

    Ive always been hesitant on buy ESU because they dont play well with current keepers when you have to program them. But I do like the wide range of programability.

    Hi Ron, definitely interested. I have a Kato F7 A & B unit that is DCC ready. I'm still trying to figure out witch way to go 😕. Take any recommendations and I also want to put sound in the B unit. It has a little bit more room. Thank you so much for your help with everything, Chris

    Nice video! I noticed that once you had the locos paired in the yard they were moving a cut of high capacity tank cars. I've been trying to find tank cars like these in N scale, and it's been harder than I thought. I was wondering if you could tell me who makes them or where they came from? Thanks!

    Is there a good conversation for the old chassis? I’m just getting into the hobby but if I switch my layout from dc to doc I’d like to keep my dads old (from when they were made in Japan) RS-3 running

    Hi Ron
    I have a problem. I want to run trains with more then one engines. Like you did with with bnsf engine. But I don't know which dcc system is the best. Maybe you can help me out.

    • @RonsTrainsNThings
      @RonsTrainsNThings  3 роки тому

      Any DCC system can do that. NCE seems to be most popular at the moment, but I would say NCE, Digitrax, or MRC Prodigy Advance2, any of those are good.
