The Dean & Mary moment is one of my favourite things about this season. It was beautifully acted by both Jensen and Samantha and has me bawling every time 😢

Fun fact about them trying to knock through the concrete wall - apparently Jared and Jensen were TOO good at it, and got all the way through the prop wall (which was 18" of real concrete) in like a minute when they were practicing 😂 and the bit with them wincing and having to go get goggles was added in because the stunt coordinator said they had to have eyewear because of all the dust.

When Amara said she would give Dean what he needed most, this was it. Just like she had to confront Chuck. Dean needed to confront his mom, addressing the hidden anger he had against her. And being able to forgive her.

The best part about Dean and Marry’s scene to me is it isn’t Dean’s pain. All he talks about is Sam and everything Sam went through. Dean is the greatest brother real or fantasy to ever exist. It really shows how much he cares when he relates Sam’s pain and not his own
