To modify Increase bet from $5 to $30 however start pass line bet with just $5 adding $25 odds once point is establish and come would be $30 Continue how you play with 2 come bets for a 6 & 8. 1 come bet for 5 & 9 and zero come for a 4 & 10
+adam sheffler great, just take it slow, play one bet at a time, just start with a pass line bet and wait and watch, add other bets when comfortable, it’s a fun game
adam sheffler it’s the best game that gives the player a fighting chance to win. IMHO, it’s the only game that offers a fair fight, if you bet on the 6 & 8 at the minimum. Good luck!
I so enjoy your videos and yours alone ,I use a different system on things ,but love seeing and using different parts Thank you and keep the great work up
If the point became a 6, would it be better next to place a come out bet or add the free odds? Or do you have a video showing live play using the free odds? Thanks man. The series been a great help.
Adam MidCal Glad videos have been a help. Adding free odds is mathematically better but doesn’t increase your chances of winning, you might want to get another point working with a come bet. Watch the 3 point Molly videos to see bets with come bets and adding odds.
Thanks for your videos. I'm a fan of the game as well and I enjoy your content. I've got some thoughts on adding Come bets to games that have established points that differ from your strategy here. If the odds are 2:1 for 4&10 wouldn't it make sense to add Come bets to those points? My reasoning is that if the Seven does come up and you have a Come bet, that bet would win right? So I think it makes sense to add the Come bets to those points as well as 6&8 and 5&9. What do you think?
Well you can’t choose what numbers the come moves to, in this strategy if the come moves to 4/10, I just don’t add additional come bets. This is just a beginner strategy, I’m not adding “free odds” to the bet so the 4/10 only get paid at 1:1 as a come bet. The odds get paid 2:1 if added.
I guess I would like your input on my strategy. 5.00 pass line, (point gets established say 4). I do double odds on my pass line, $5.00 come bet but then I do a $1.00 C&E to hedge my come, Say a 5. Once again, $5.00 come bet $1.00 C&E say 6 is rolled. Now I have 2 working numbers. a pass line and that's where I leave it. By the way I do double odds on my working numbers.. Does this make sense to go through the come or just place bet and forget the come altogether.
OK ... let's say on the come out roll the point is 6. I place my first come bet, it's a nine. Second come bet is an 8. Next roll the 9 hits. Do I place another come bet to replace the one I just won on, or play out the rolls now? Hope that make sense, I'm a beginner?
Graham Holms good question, it’s really up to you, at one point you had 3 numbers working for ya, you could replace a winner or just play it out. Whatever your comfortable with, that 7 is eventually coming. Of course a new come bet wins on a 7(first roll) so that offsets some loses
Hey. New player here. Taking things easy but seems I hit a wall...maybe I need to learn a few more betting strategies but seem I never get ahead- I mean- i know its gambling- but I don't even see what I'm hoping few. I'll play pass line. I'll often do a place 6 and 8. Maybe take odds bet. But seems it never does much... any tips or recommended videos of yours to watch. Thx
You are making good bets. If you bring $200 and up $40 are you willing to walk? That’s a 20% win. Most people cannot walk with such a “small win” and continue to play until they are losing. So depending on your bankroll, make sure you are setting realistic win goals. Enjoy the game for entertainment, and know it is designed to take your money. The big wins do come sometimes, but not as often as you may see others portray on Facebook or UA-cam.
yes I forgot about that, but you are, from Ohio, so I know you are creative , artistic , especially after making that mural on your wall, I am sure you can make a miniature one. Last thing I am the guy looking into that popup craps fake roll, it turns out it has a license and runs under a slot machine program ,that can't never take a lost , so that whole setup by I Interlock is endorse by the Gaming Control Board of Ohio, so they have no fear of us complaining about the same numbers coming 12 times in row.
Great video - extremely educational and helpful. However, why do you let point affect whether or not you play the COME bet? You say it's an "independent" game, so the point shouldn't affect the result of your COME bet. The chances of rolling the 7 are the same regardless of the point, and hitting the point before the 7 doesn't win the COME bet - it just establishes the "point" of that COME bet.
Eddy Shiang thanks for watching, you are correct in everything you said. The reason is more about risk management or how much willing to bet per shooter. With outside points, you are more likely to lose, and just choosing not to risk additional monies on that shooter. Statistically it doesn’t matter but this is just a way to slow down betting. I would like to say to a beginner, “ bet one bet at a time and wait for result” but most people just aren’t patient enough and like to get more action. This is just a way to accomplish some additional action, but in a conservative way. Good question.
In your example when the point is on 10 let's say we went ahead and placed a come bet the next roll the point hits. Can I pull down my bet before next come out roll? Thx
If I understand correctly you are asking about pulling down the come bet. In that case, no. The pass line and the come bet are contract bets and cannot be removed once they are placed. If you have a come bet, and the 10 is rolled, that is the "come out roll" for the come bet, and it would automatically be moved up to the 10 box by the dealer, so you couldn't pull it down.
DIRK SCOTT the reason that is, is because it’s a “contract” bet and you have the advantage on the come out roll 8ways to win vs 4 ways to lose and 24 combinations to make a point
It's nice that the 7 wins for the come bet when your pass bet loses but then you have the come bet up there losing when you have your pass bet winning on the come out roll.
Enjoying your videos. Do you ever discuss the hidden math of the house edge. Specifically how each bet charges the house odds, so a pass line bet which lasts several minutes versus constantly making field bets which tick the house advantage every time you bet, so after an hour of play the field better ticks the house advantage much more etc.
Graham Holms if the point is 4 or 10 and you wanted to make a place bet for additional numbers, yes the 6 and 8 is a good bet at only 1.5% house edge, one of lowest in casino
Put bet is a come bet without going thru come out roll. You “put” it directly on a number and add odds. It only makes sense to do so on tables that pay 20x or higher odds. The flat bet would be paid 1:1, but the odds pay true odds.
I have never been a fan of "Come" bets. It is hard enough for shooters to hit a point let alone create a "second point" by doing a Come bet. Just my thought lol
A lot of people feel the same way. The Come has some advantages, like the lower house edge, because its a winner with 7/11 on first roll, and if you play higher than 5x odds the payouts are better than placing numbers. That being said, I don't play it much either.

Drew Winegardner what strategy do you use ? Has he made a video on it yet ?
Great informational video. Thank you !
Just won $600 in Vegas using this with some field bets mixed in. Thank you!

TehJew22 yeah, it's great for beginners to learn and provides more action than just sticking to the pass line.
Most Excellent!! Keep on rollin !!

Hey Color Up, do a strategy on crap less craps and the payouts .
I need to, only issue is I don't have the correct felt layout as it is much different

what about taking your odds on the pass line and the come bet?
Explained in other videos. This is “beginner” video laying foundation
Why didn’t you bet the field? Would’ve made some decent money on the first 3 rolls
Wasn’t explaining those bets. Also it’s easier to know what to bet after seeing rolls 😉
It's nice that the 7 wins for the come bet when your pass bet loses but then you have the come bet up there losing when you have your pass bet winning on the come out roll.
Yep. Sometimes they just offset and no advantage

I have lots of videos talking about house edge. I think you’ll like this one specifically about the field bet. ua-cam.com/video/bbsbvprgf5w/v-deo.html
@@ColorUp oh yeah I've watched that one. Good stuff!
That was a great video! It really helps watching the game in play. Thanks
Do you have to be the shooter to make a come bet?
nope, anyone can make come bets, only the shooter is required to make a pass line or don't pass bet. Only required bet in craps.
What are good other bets to place here when a 4 or 10 is set as the point in the come out roll? Place odds on 6 and 8 maybe?
Graham Holms if the point is 4 or 10 and you wanted to make a place bet for additional numbers, yes the 6 and 8 is a good bet at only 1.5% house edge, one of lowest in casino
You can't place odds on a 6 or 8 after a point is set on another number.
Actually you can, it’s called a put bet. But I think question may be about adding place bets.
@@ColorUp A Put bet doesn't pay true odds.

You're not placing odds on your pass line or come bet? Why not?
+Brian Y this is a video for beginners, teaching the basics of pass line and come, later videos in my series add odds to the bet

Casinos love that you use place bets. You'll win less in the long run.
Casinos love all bets. You will lose more over time with higher house edge bets. Not win less
So the come bet is like a fugue with the shooter starting.
?
wooo.... 10 dollars for 20min. i can get that at work thanks
Ok
why aren't you backing up with odds that's where the money is.
Beginner video explaining pass/come bet. Later in series i describe odds bet
it seems like the pass line bet wins more often then the come bet Why is that i'm not the only one that says that
Great question, that I don’t know, except the key word is it “seems” like that is the case...statistically it is probably not the case
